You'll have a busy week ahead! We're not QUITE as bad since Small Town Christmas is done but Mom's 89th birthday celebration is tomorrow. I DID get most of my shopping done today with a quick trip to Katy with DH (mistake as far as the shopping but was nice to have HIM drive in the holiday and football playoffs traffic! ). We had to leave Katy earlier than expected...frantic texts from both DD's...the roads in Austin County were beginning to ice over when the light rain started falling. They MADE is come home before I was ready! The remaining gifts will be gift cards or ordered online...hopefully tomorrow after the party. My tree is as I left it last Thursday...(artificial due to my allergies)...1/3 put together...but I have the tree topper on! WHY do we do these things to ourselves in December??? ... oh yeah...the SMILES on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!

You've been quite busy too. I'm still trying to figure out when I'm going to do my baking/cooking for Christmas. Working Monday and Tuesday, Monday night is our alumni game for hockey and Tuesday is Christmas eve and we udually go out to visit family. Really don't want to bake or make food on Sunday for Wednesday. I'm not used to working around the holidays.

I will be staying at Caribbean Beach for when I do the Disney 1/2 marathon on the January 8th thru the 12th weekend.

I THINK DD said the soccer team would be staying there too in July...provided they "get off their duffs" and earn the money for the trip!

I had so many problems at the CBR last time I stayed, it will be a long time before I stay there again! Sure didn't hold a candle to the Grand Californian in Disneyland. Boy did that spoil me!!

Next time I go to DW I will probably stay at PO Riverside.

I'm trying to wait too with the holdays and high school hockey starting. Practice every night. I'm president of the hockey boosters and we have so much to do. Having a jamboree next Saturday, lot of things to do for that. Have to collect all the parent and player contact info, get uniforms ready and handed out, take photos for the programs, do roster, plan alumni game, cook/bake for jamboree next Saturday, enter all the game and practice schedules in the team website, Fundraising and more fundraising because we have to raise 14,200 for practice ice.

Having DH family Christmas party next Sunday have to find ornaments for the ornament swap and figure out what to make for food. Work holiday party have to make food for that and find a gift. Hockey practice every night. Oh and start my Christmas shopping

We did get our tree today and bought more lights for outside. DH checked lights, 4 sets out Hopefully they will be put up tomorrow. Definitely decorating the tree tomorrow.

That all sounds like a lot of work!!!

I'm done with my French horn and violin!! One more viola concert tomorrow and I will be done w/my performances!!

I'm not used to being "retired" around the holidays...this year has been worse than when I worked! I'm starting my baking this week; cooking will be done on Christmas Eve!

I can just here Jeff's phone call tomorrow when he calls into to work saying that he needs to take the day off since he washed his car shut
