It felt like WE could over here in Texas yesterday. Man was it a nasty day; high north winds, cloudy, upper 40's but wind chill was low 30's . The kind of day DGD should NOT have been out in but she was. So THIS Mimi "got" to play doctor last night ...going on about 3 hours sleep here with a little girl with a VERY sore, yukky looking throat and low to medium grade temp. DGD and son-in-law are on the road now, returning from their weekend trip to "Margaritaville" in Louisiana and in the meantime, we're enjoying Christmas movies, the fireplace and lots and lots of hot chocolate! (and maybe a NAP this afternoon! ) Getting us in the mood for what's suppose to be a Christmas complete with an "arctic blast" of cold air!

I have been unplugged from all TV news lately. When did that happen? Did get snow down here about 37 years ago. Not enough to do anything with.

Yep...massive snow storm over that entire part of the world...Jerusalem even had snow! I love the sand snowman...and curious to see the sand tree!
