More a sea shell than a mustache...but it's neither! This is from a park but not MK.

Oh Annie...I am SO SORRY! Both of my girls suffer from migraines too. Since your trip is so close, you might want to visit your doctor...see if there is any "preventive" medicine out there. Youngest DD woke up the morning of State Marching qualifying contest with a brutal one. Loaded her up and got her to the doctor, he gave her a shot and she was ready to march by 1 that afternoon. Fall weather can really effect us though...just get down to the Florida sunshine and you'll be fine!

I don't have them with enough frequency to qualify for preventive. My mom is on Topamax, and she says it works but gives sodas a nasty taste. This is extremely depressing to me as I LIVE off Coca-Cola. Most of the time I take Imitrex and it either knocks it out or brings it to a level I can deal with, but I am thinking a trip to the neurologist is in the future since my GP just isn't doing much about it.

Sorry Annie! Hope you feel better soon. You are supposed to be getting a lot of rain, maybe that will help? You are in Greenville, right?

I'm actually living back home in Raleigh now. But it is rainy, and cold, and just downright yucky. The kind of weather where you just want to curl up on the couch with some cider and do nothing.

NO Topamax if it makes Coke taste funny! Your weather sounds perfect to me ... but the rainy part may have something to do with it. One of my girls took Imitrex for a short time too. Neurologist may be helpful but then it may just be a passing thing....
