So this week was a short week due to the long weekend and I was like hey why not I should leave early today and see the dentist because of some tooth pain I have been happening

So I ended up getting a emergency root canal

So now Emily and I are over at my moms place for the weekend while she is having a blast down in Vegas and I am here In pain they had to give me 5 needle because the numbing stuff was not working

FUN!!! Been there; done that...4-5 times...I've lost count! I always "enjoyed" the afternoon/evening following one...whatever my dentist uses to put me "under" sure does give restful sleep the rest of the day! Jello and chicken broth ... and COLD ice tea and I'm "down for the count"! Pain meds on a regular basis for 3 days and you're home free! Enjoy the quiet weekend!

Tough non-district loss for the football team tonight; 39-38 in overtime. Arch rivals lost too, 35-34 and one of our boys went down on the last touchdown for about 5 minutes. Was so quiet in the stands, we could hear the fan/misters on the sidelines...but he walked off the field...a little woozy but will be okay.

Redstorm is in a soft cast and will be playing soccer tomorrow so she's a happy camper. Mimi would like to have her sit this game out but she's determined to play ; so, all in all not a bad start for the weekend.

Haha in Canada almost all medical stuff if free haha I like our health care system lol

But I almost have extra covered through my work and Emily's work so we don't pay for a damn thing lol for anything thing

You are lucky. We pay almost 200 a week for medical and dental ins.

Ed...how's your pool temperature? DGD and I are waiting for a small thunderstorm to pass us by so we can get in the COOL water! We've been pretty lucky this season...nights have been a little on the cool side and our water hasn't gotten to warm at all.
