it is not part of a rug or pillow. I don't think it is wood. Not really sure exactly what it is made of.

Finally got it figured out! Denise...I really thought you'd get this after I gave my "hint"....you KNOW how excited I am about MONSTERS UNIVERSITY! Taking DGD's tomorrow afternoon....

I wish they had a Monsters Inc meet and greet when we were there. That would have been fun.
