where/how do you book character meals?

Newbie here (obviously) but on my way to Home Depot to buy a lime green mickey. Only 17 more sleeps - not sure where/how to book character meals for dd8 and ds4 - oh, we are offsite - does that matter too?

Welcome, and no need to buy green mickey heads they are free samples at the paint department. Character meals are for everyone on site or off, and if you search here or allearsnet you can find more info about the character meals to narrow down which ones you like. Last August we did, crystal palace, OMG was that all, have I forgotten already! Its time to go back! LOL Anyhoo, crystal palace for breakfast was good, and we all love the pooh characters. Choose what your kids will like! Have a great time

I believe if you already know what character meals you would like to book then you call 407-WDW-DINE. (407-939-3463) up to 180 days before your chosen date. Doesn't matter if you're staying onsite or not. WDW Dining opens at 7am CENTRAL time. If you plan on booking one of the popular meas like Cinderella's, I would call in advance and test out the system to get a feel for it. Good luck!
