Where have you used your Disney Reward Dollars?

I did a quick search and it seems like there is still a blackhole of information on where Disney Dream Reward Dollars (from Disney Visa) can - or more importantly, cannot - be used.

Anyone know from experience if they are widely accepted inside the parks for concession food, drink, etc.? How about the nicer restaurants inside the parks as well?

Just trying to figure out how I'll be paying for lunch. As a former CM, I know things got a little wicky-wacky with my discount inside the gates and I'm concerned this might be the case with the Dream Dollars too.

I just called to have them send me my reward dollars.

I was told that they can be used anywhere in WDW and that they are just like cash.

I specifically asked about the kiosks for ice cream, etc. They told me yes, just like cash, but that one made me a little nervous. I think I'll make sure I have the "green" money for the kiosks and if we can use the reward dollars it will be an added woohoo!

We used our Rewards dollars to pay for meals at the Cape May Cafe and at the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

They are taken anywhere that Disney Dollars are taken.

You have to sign the back of each one when used.

And you do NOT get change for them. So don't buy a $2.50 bottle of water with a $10 rewards certificate!!!

Can the disney reward $'s be used for Annual Passes or Tickets ?
To help pay for a Disney resort ?

From the way I read the info on the net it can be used at any Disney resort, park, store or mail order. We are using the heck out of our card.
