Hello all, I am looking for some help. I am a HUGE Villain’s fan; I still get misty eyed when I think I missed their Character meal.

Alas, I am hoping to start a “Villains only” autograph/picture book on my next trip. Where have you spotted these elusive characters in the World? Have any tips on times they may be out, or places? Any ideas will be a great help.

Thanks in advance!

My last trip was Oct. 2001 so I'm not sure how current this info is. We saw Captain Hook and Mr. Smee outside Pirates of the Caribbean. We also saw the Queen of Hearts in front of the Great Movie Ride at MGM.

The evil queen from Snow White made me kneel before her for a photograph outside Tower of Terror in October. It made for a great picture!

We saw a bunch of villians over by the teacup ride. At least I think that is where it was at. We were just there in Dec. and it feels like it has been years since we were there!

There were about four of them just standing there!

Magic Kingdom had them on rotation between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. I believe we saw Cruella, the Queen of Hearts, King John, someone I cannot remember at this time, and Jafar. They were changing the people every half hour or so, depending on the character, so if we would have waited around, we most likely could have seen more. Just check the maps and time sheets when you get to the parks and they will tell you!

I had my picture taken in September with the Evil Queen (from Snow White) in MGM. She was on Sunset Boulevard, just pass Villians in Vogue. There is a little area past the stores on the left (if you're walking towards the TOT end of the street) that is open and then there is a Disney Vacation Club Shack. She was in that little open area.

I know I've seen Cruella DeVille in MGM but I can't think of a specific area. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee can often be found outside Pirates of the Caribbean, and of course Peter Pan. I've seen the Queen from Alice in Wonderland near the International Gateway in Epcot, but I don't know if that's a regular thing. And I think I've seen Jafar near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin in MK. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding them!

i have seen cruella near the great movie ride, the villians shop, and near where the busts of actors/actresses are on display. this is near "doug." these sightings were in december.:p

The last two times we were in the world we saw Jafar outside of Morocco in EPCOT. He is so funny. He makes the kids bow to him and they are too cute when you see these little kids bowing to Jafar and he stands there with that look on his face. :teeth:

Definitely try there ;)

We saw Jafar in MGM on sunset blvd. and he was so funny. He made my daughter kiss his hand and then he wiped the kiss away. It cracked us up.

Cruella usually rides the train in at opening and does Town Sq meet/greets in MK.

Villains are featured in the Fantasyland Character Festival (old queue for 20k) across from the Pooh ride.

In the early morning, in front of the old 1000 Leaques under the Sea (now the Character Greet area) they have had a bunch of Villians. We saw Queen of Hearts, Sheriff of Nottingham, Jafar, and Cruella. Also check the front of MK for the board to see if they are doing a Villians room at the character greet tent in Toon Town.
Also at MGM we saw some villians at Harold Square and the Great Movie Ride.Good Luck

There is a little pavillion in Fantasyland called "Fantasyland Character Festival". It is on the MK park map. This seems to be a central place for meet & greet with the villains. I noticed the Queen of Hearts and Cruella for sure when we passed by, but there may have been a few others with them at the same time.

At MGM there is a shop with Fantasmic stuff. There is alot of villain stuff for sale in there.

Queen of Hearts near teacups and character festival and in MGm near great movie ride, Cruella against fence near great Movie Ride, Jafar in adventure land, Bad Guy from Pochahontas in Adventure land and Hook near small world a long time ago. If yo ask CMs in toontown judges tent they can call around for you to find anyone we do that a lot as my childrne always want to find daisy or some obscure character :p

The best place, like posters here said, is the Fantasyland Character Festival area in the back of Fantasyland. On my last two trips in May 2002 and January 2003, we saw many villians: Cruella, Snow White Queen, Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John from Robin Hood, Ratcliff, Queen of Hearts, Jafar, and one of my favorites, Malificent.

I also seen "villians" such as Gideon by City Hall at MK; Foulfellow and Gideon at the front of MGM and also by the Toontown Train Station; Snow White Queen and Cruella near the big hat at MGM. We saw Captain Hook and Mr. Smee by the cirlce when entering MK, also by Pirates of Caribbean ride in MK. Also saw Brer Bear by City Hall in MK.

I love visiting the villians, too! I actually get nervous while waiting in line, but it's always worth it! :)

Looking for villians in the parks? There are two ways to find out which characters are scheduled to be making appearances around the parks. First, check the times guides (you pick them up with the park maps). They'll list some character greeting times and locations, but aren't too specific. The other way to find out is to find a CM that doesn't look to busy and ask them to try to find out where you could find your desired character. they have ways of locating characters.

I have to share my best villains story! I, too, am a villain chaser, (saw Maleficent in Fantasyland at DL in January---quite a coup for me!!!) and I have to share this one!

June 2001, we were entering MGM in the evening when the CM checking tickets saw my daughter's "Birthday" button. He leaned down and said he had a birthday secret for her. He told her some characters were just about to come out behind Sid Cahuengas (sp) shop---you know, right on the left after you enter the park. He told her to rush over, because the Old Hag (Snow White) was already out and scaring people!

I kid you not, I dropped her hand (6yo) and my son's hand (4yo) and RACED over there. Fortunately, DH brought them and the 2yo right behind me! Well, the Old Hag was peering into the windows of the shop and scaring the pants off of people!!! It was hysterical!!! We had her all to ourselves for approximately 1 roll of film until other people came over and the rest of the characters came out.

After multiple trips to WDW and DL, that is my very best memory!! Thanks for letting me share!

Patti

PS---we leave for WDW in 10 days, and I'll post a villains list upon my return if you would like!

Wow! thank you for the great ideas!

Patty, if you could post any sightings on your trip that would be faboo! Thank you so much for sharing and have another excellent trip!
