Where else to eat at Epcot

We are going down Sept 14-19 on free dining and got Le Cellier for Sep 16 at 12:35. We are trying to decide what to book for that night for dinner. We are travelling with a 4 yr old and 2 yr old and can't decide if we should stay with something at Epcot or if we should go to a resort restaurant. We are going to the Magic Kingdom the day prior and know it will be a long first day since we have ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern at 4:20 so we have no plans for napping that day.

Any thoughts? Coral Reef is booked that night.

If you want to stay at Epcot, I would suggest Biergarten. It is a buffet, but there is something for everyone. And kids, as well as adults, love the live entertainment with the band, dancing, etc. If you want to go to a resort, how about Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge or if you want seafood there is Cape May Cafe at the Beach Resort.

Try for a patio seat at the Rose and Crown in the UK for Illuminations!!!! THey have great food and one of the best views of the fireworks.

Well we are experienced traveling with 2 little ones and I think you are right... if you have no break MK day, it will beveryhard to do that the next day as well. What I would do, is plan on leaving Epcot after lunch (still will be 2 or 3pm when you get back to hotel I would guess) and rest or swim. Where are you staying?? If it's at a mod I would just eat TS there. Do you have a car? Then you could do DTD or another resort. I would be hesitant to try and make it on the bus back into a park (esp. Epcot, since the walk to the back eats up your time as well), or keep them out 2 full days at the parks. Too exhausting and I'll bet the kids will be melting down (mine would at least). Or just eat CS at the hotel and see if you can double up your TS (like a breakfast/dinner) on another day?

My DD's favorite restaurant in all of WDW is Garden Grill at Epcot. I assume it's on the dining plan, but not sure. Your little ones are sure to enjoy this character lunch/dinner. Have fun!!

Are you sure you want to do 2 table services in one day? They are a time sucker, esp with two young children who may not tolerate sitting at a table for 4 hours in a day. It's HOT that time of year so you may want to just eat at your hotel counter service on your way back to the park that night or grab a counter service inside someplace cool for awhile. (I would plan on an afternoon break)

As far as table service, Biergarten is a little more active if they need to move around. Garden Grill is a character meal, which will be interesting than a regular table service spot.

Leave the park and head over to the boardwalk/beach club area.

Cape May is a nice buffet option.
Spoodles is good option, non buffet.
Captain's Grille at the Yacht club seems like it would the quietest option in the area.

Thanks! Yes, we booked Whispering Canyon for the following day after we do the Animal Kingdom. Too many choices, too much to consider. Thanks for your suggestion of Biergarten.

since you have young kids you might like cape may for their buffet.
rose and crown is nice as well as france butfor young kidss maybe cape may.

if you go to studio prime time would be good for the kids and you.

go to Cape May, also gets kids out of all the stimulation of the park but not at an entire sit down meal. They can get up and move around more. If you are wishing to stay in the park go to Garden Grill, I think you need somewhere where they is not alot of sitting. I think maybe heading back to your resort might be a great idea too. Go explore the resort, there are so many things to do at each resort too.

I vote Biergarten too, they have great comfort food and the band interacts with the kids very well, they can dance and join in! I loved it there!!

Personally, I wouldn't do 2 TS meals in one day with 2 little ones. But, if you really want to, I would also suggest Biergarten. It's a really fun place!

try and get a 6:15 ressie at Crown & Roses, in England. After getting the menu, order a drink, take your time. After you have your drink then look at the menu. Take your time. If you time it correctly, you can be ordering dessert, just as Illuminations begins. If you are lucky you could have a seat outside, orhterwise ask the CM if you can go out and watch. They have an area for just this.
