Where else do you travel ???

Next year I will be taking trips to Las Vegas, Peru, and WDW. Will probably add some long weekends to NYC or Philadelphia as well. I try to take an international trip and a Disney trip each year.

For relaxing we love Aruba and St. Thomas. Can't beat the islands for gorgeous beaches and great food.

I don't think any vacation is more relaxing than a trip to the beach. There must be some lovely ones on the Atlantic coast of Georgia.

When you don't have to contend with kids or their school schedule, the sky's the limit! You can go anywhere.

Hi Andrea,
It looks like you have a lot of great suggestions. I personally think you can not beat a beach vacation for relaxation. Where that beach is located is up to you. Have a great time and be sure to let everyone know what you decide. :thumbsup2

The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

The Ozarks - VERY relaxing

San Antonio - can be relaxing if you avoid the fiestas

New Orleans - this place can be as quiet or as busy as you want it to be

My most fun vacation was 2 weeks in Italy last year. I spent a week seeing Venice, Florence, and Rome and another biking Tuscany. I am hoping to make it back to Europe again in a year or so to do some more biking and hiking.

Sometimes we don't do things right in our backyard...if you haven't visited Chattanooga there are a lot of things to do there. We have also enjoyed renting a cabin in the smokey mountains, hitting the tourist traps in Pigeon Forge and going across the mountains Ashville and the Biltmore.

I have been planning to go to Atlantis. There's one in the Bahamas and one in Dubai. Check it out; they both look so majestic and the Bahamas one reminds me of King Triton's palace. :wizard:

Isn't that the truth.

Ashville and The Biltmore will be beautiful next month and is a very relaxing vacation spot.

Hawaii is wonderful this time of the year (actually any beach is lovely) and a cruise is definitely relaxing.

Flights from ATL to Cancun aren't that pricey right now. Fly into Cancun, then head south to Playa del Carmen.

Fun and relaxing!

Or go a little farther south to Akumal! Very relaxing and the best place to snorkel.

I would go to the Banff Springs hotel in Banff, Alberta, Canada. It is amazing up there and they have an unbelievable spa there. There isn't much to do around there so spending quite days in the spa is perfect. If there is snow, a snowmobile trip in the mountains is a MUST.
