Not that I want to NOT go to Disney, but where else is there to go? Our summers are weekends of softball, so we don't normally go any where else..

Just curious

VIRGINIA! :teeth: And I've been to Club Med. That's nice every few years.

We cruise to the Caribbean......very relaxing!!! Next cruise is in May with an Orlando trip planned for July.

We rent a beach house at one of SC's or NC's beaches. My entire family comes for a week.

momof3disneyholics took the words right out of my mouth!!

There are other places to go besides Disney World???

We will eventually go elsewhere but for now, we so love going to WDW, that we just can't seem to get ourselves to go anywhere else. :D

We usually plan one trip per year to WDW (but that usually doesn't work!) and usually one other big trip per year. Sometimes we can get a quick weekend getaway in as well, and this year we are to Vegas. Our non-WDW trip is usually to the Caribbean, with last year being to St. John and this year being a Western DCL cruise. DH gets 4 weeks per year, so it's 2 weeks in WDW, 1 week to the Caribbean and the other week is our floater.

Not in any particular order:

San Antonio
Phoenix/Grand Canyon
Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore/Badlands
Disneyland
New England States
Vegas
Outer Banks
Charleston, SC
St. Augustine, FL
Chincoteague/Assateague
Adirondacks
Mammoth Cave, KY
Nashville
Monument Valley, UT/Four Corners
Vail, Co
Disney Cruise to the Bahamas
Pennsylvania Grand Canyon
Niagara Falls

Doreen - that's how we are..
My friend is trying to get me to go with her to Minnesota for the Ice Scuptures at the end of Jan. But that will all depend on when DH really leaves for Dublin.

I had started to plan a trip to Grand Canyon after our Dec Disney trip (- it was a bad trip), but when I found out that our little kids couldn't get down to the bottom with out a lot of trouble I decided against it.

My dad has wanted to go to Mt Rushmore for years, my same friend that wants me to go to MN, goes there every other year for a family reunion and wants us to go this year and take my parents, but with softball and our Dec Cruise I don't think that will happen.

Aside from Disneyland and WDW, we typically travel to the American Southwest, usually New Mexico or Colorado. DH has gone several other places with conferences as well. We've also been to Washington D.C. for a couple of days and want to go back to spend more time. Also want to see Branson Missouri, and I want to take him to Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon, and of course Hawaii. I'd also like to go to Alaska eventually and do one of the cruises, and to western Canada (like the Jasper and Banff area). Oh, and don't forget Cancun and the neat pyramids and ruins of the Yucatan. Oh, and we plan to go to Switzerland this summer with a conference.

LAS VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love it there. :)

Our kids are still young (4 & 7) so we don't want to go far with them (they are tough to travel with!) We have been fortunate to go to wdw 2x a year since 2000.

In July we head down to RI for a couple of nights - and in August we head up to Maine for a couple of nights (lobster, mmmm!)

As the kids get older we may venture further, but we have so much to do right here in New England.

We go upstate to the Catskills and to Lake George every summer for a week, but that's tradition and I don't consider that a vacation :)

I've been to Atlantis twice, and I'm looking forward to going a third time. We simply love it there, it's themed beautifully and is so relaxing. I'm obsessed!

When I was younger we went to Amish Country and Hershey a few times.

When to Madrid last year - year before a Cruise - and in March this year we're off to South Africa.

Thats in between our DVC vacations lol

jj........

We didn't start our WDW vacations until 1999, but we've been going every other year since. In between, there've been trips to Williamsburg/Busch Gardens, Cedar Point, Sesame Place (when the boys were little), Niagara Falls (Canadian side). Summer of 2004 we're heading out west - Vegas, Grand Canyon and DisneyLand/Calif. Adventure. Summer of 2005 is back to WDW, and I'm ready to start planning!

Both boys and DH are very active in scouting, so they always spend a week at scout camp every summer (that what I call my "real" vacation - a week alone, just me and the dog).

Disneyland... (been at least 30 times and I'm only 28)

or Hawaii (went 2 times in 5 months this year - June and Nov) Mom and stepdad just bought a timeshare - so I am guessing it will be a once a year thing from now on.

Been all over the USA, plus Bermuda, Bahamas, and Virgin Islands.
I now as a single parent of dd6 tend to go close to home. Sanibel and Captiva Islands on FL's west coast are favorites (went there when I was a child) and the FL Keys. And still WDW! However when dd is older I want to go places further away like Alaska and the Grand Canyon.

We travel a little bit. Of course we love Disney, but we go to:

Playa Del Carmen
Las Vegas
San Antonio, TX and

Disney, Disney, Disney!:hyper:
