Hi,

We'd like a restaurant for dinner after a day at Discovery Cove. On the route back to WDW - POFQ. We don't want to go out of the way to find a back-roads place.

The restaurants we like at WDW are Jiko's, Citricos, Brown Derby, Kona Cafe. We don't want a buffet style restaurant. (Don't want super expensive either.)

I've just read a little about Bahama Breeze but don't know if it's on our route.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Rhonna

Yes..Bahama Breeze is very close to Sea World/Discovery Cove.

That used to be our dinner restaurant after a long day at Sea World. Perfect place to end a great day.

Bahama Breeze you have your choice of two...the one basically minutes from Sea World on International Drive, or the one minutes from disney near the marriot hotel plaza grouping.

Free valet parking at both.

I'd suggest Cafe Tu Tu Tango ---- it's a fabulous place on I-Drive not far from Sea World (maybe 1/4 mile out of your way?) - An upbeat, eclectic atmosphere, with lots of art (most times they have artists working there while you eat - you can watch if you like). They also have an open kitchen, so you can eatch the chefs

.....Menu is tapas/appetizer size portions that are meant to be shared -- and they have everything from flat-bread pizza, salads, seafoods, steak, empanadas, spring rolls, alligator bites (taste like chicken), plus a kids menu (kids can design their own pizza at the table) ---- much more exciting than I've described -- take a look at their menu on their website ---- each dish costs about $4 - $8 -- so depending on your appetite, you can order one or 2 items each and share - it's alot of fun, and usually we are stuffed!! (The salad is big enough to be a meal for example)...

Thanks for the recommendations.

Do either of these restaurants have non-smoking areas?

I read on another thread that someone found TutuTango extremely smoky.

Can you make reservations at Bahama Breeze? I read about long waiting lines.

I've never heard of either restaurant before reading some threads here.

All inside restaurants are non-smoking in FL now. Bar areas have to be non-smoking if they serve food..something like that. You can eat at the bar area in Bahama breeze so I believe that is non-smoking also. It is in south florida anyway.

Bahama breeze is closer to Discovery cove than Cafe Tu Tu Tango. I don't believe they take reservations...you could try though..just go to bahamabreeze.com, search out the address/phone number for the location you want to go to.
It is fun in the evenings..live caribbean type music on the deck.

You will also be able to take a peak at the menu on the website.

Enjoy!

Thanks!

I think we'll try Bahama Breeze since we don't have anything like that near us. I like tapa bars but have never tried Cuban food.
