where does your Board Name come from??

Simple. Mine is from DIS(ney) and Flan (first part of my last name). For years, my board/sysop name on Compuserve's Literary Forum was Flan. (Not that many of you have any idea what that is/was.) I liked it, so I kept it.

DisFlan

My first name is Nancy, middle name is Kathleen and my last name begins with an A.

So my screen names are usually kathleena or nkathleena

my cat!!! he is now 19 years old!!! I hope I can kept him another 10 years but he is losing muscle tone. :goodvibes :Pinkbounc :cat: :thewave:

I feel so creatively challenged now! Della is my name but I feel like I should make up a much more interesting story.

I should not admit to this, BUT...

Being from NJ, I have once or twice looked at the name of NJOYURLIFE and thought it read like a threat of sorts..."New Jersey or your life!!!" This is usually when I up reading the disboards way too late at night!

My husband, Steve, started snooping on the boards long before I did, but he still hasn't signed on. So I did. Hence, Steve's Wife.

This was the first forum I ever signed up with, and since it was all things Disney, and since my family loves all things Disney, well, you can figure out the rest! I do wish I could change it tho' I've been known as "skatersmom" or "skatersmompat" for so long (both my girls figure skate) I would love to change to that, but it would be such a hassle, so I stick with Disneylovers.

I love photography and my fav slide film is Kodachrome and the speed of the film is 64. Also, I'm a big Simon & Garfunkle fan and I love Paul Simon's song "Kodachrome"!!!!!!

We are very into Lord of the Rings. So when we were planning a party for our fellow Disney friends, my DD nicked named us the Fellowship of the Mouse (FOTM). Since I tend to be the head planning/booking person, I'm the ring bearer. Hence the name, FOTM_Ring_Bearer.

Contrary to what most people believe, the formula for converting cat years to human years is NOT to multiply by 7. That would make your cat 133 years old already. Humans just don't live that long.

The best formula for converting cat years to human years is this one:
1st year = 20 years old.
Then add 4 years for each following year.

So at 19, your cat is now 92. In just two more years he'll be 100.

P.S. Dog lovers, use the same formula.

I was named for Ricky Nelson (50's child TV star and later recording artist), so I was named Richard. My mother did not know that his given name was Eric, so my name should have been Eric. In computer roleplaying games I would often use "Erik the wise" when playing a wizard character, so I used the same name here.

Durango is the town that I live in. It sounded kind of "wild wild west" to be THE Durango Kid.

Chopper is my nickname and no, I do not fly helicopters. I wanted to change it to something more creative, but apparently you can't do that, right? 147 is my badge number and if any of my "friends" see my name on the dvc boards I will be roasted, toasted and ribbed into humiliation :rotfl2:
I confess I love WDW :confused3

OOPS! I forgot the 147 is not in this name. Won't matter i'll be found out anyway :goodvibes

Not much imagination here either. My name is Robin and I live in Tennessee

It may seem very cryptographic, but yes, this seemingly unbreakable code can be deciphered if you study it for a few hours. :earsboy:
