I heard on a podcast as well as read on a board that snow falls in other places in the MK besides main street. Can someone confirm that it falls near IASW? Is this a decent place to watch the holiday fireworks?
Thank you

I was there this past weekend and saw the snow fall in three places while there. Once on main street, once at IASW and once while seated for Fantasmic. I am assuming that it doesn't snow at ROA when there is not a Fantasmic performance, but I could be wrong. We had watched the fireworks from our premium viewing seats and it snowed from the show's light tower above us. It snowed when we were seated for the parade near IASW, but not during fireworks, just right when the parade ended.

Look for the black boxes on the light poles or other areas. They look like projecters. Those are the snow machines. Last year we were too late for a spot on Main Street for the fireworks so we went by Small World. The fireworks ended up being cancelled but they did the lighting and snow anyway. We thought we missed the snow since we weren't on Main Street but we hadn't notice the black box right near by (we were in the raised area across from Small World). That box pumped out a ton of snow. We were covered and it was a great surprise considering I usually try to find a spot located next to a snow machine and it never fails that I pick the one that isn't working right and we end up with barely any snow :rotfl2: So the Small World location was a great holiday surprise :thumbsup2

Confirming it Snowed in front of the castle monday night.....popcorn::

Thank you!!!! How are the fireworks from IASW?

It's not a bad spot. The castle projections are also shown in IASW. The problem is you miss most of the low fireworks around the hub. The other problem is you look in one direction at IASW and another to the high fireworks which are to the left and very high up from IASW, when facing IASW.

As far as snow this year. IASW Plaza, NOS, and around the hub and back down Mainstreet.

I was there on Monday night and it snowed outside of IASM. It was truly magical! It's a great place to watch the fireworks and see IASM light up!

Thanks GraceMonica! Did it snow before or after the fireworks? I think that is where we will be.
