Where do you store your shoes?

A shoe rack in my closet for most that I wear.
But some are in a container under my bed.
And the ones I wear most around town are by the garage door that leads to my car (barefoot in the house)

The ones I wear daily are in the living room close to the front door (tend to go shoeless in the house), and the rest are in my bedroom closet.

In theory, on a shoe rack either by the door or in our bedroom. In reality, it's where ever I am when I decide to take them off, until I get sick of seeing them all over the house and put them away. Apparently, I am the husband in our marriage lol. I am generally guilty of the messy things you hear women complaining about that their husbands don't do and he is the one irritated by it. Thanks ADHD..

My daily wear shoes are stored in front of the dresser. My dress and work in the yard shoes are stored in a corner of the master bedroom.

Another everywhere. At the back door. In the bedroom. In the spare bedroom doorway, in the kitchen, under the table in the dining room, at the front door entrance, and in the living room. I have 2 pair of shoes.

Regularly worn sneakers & in season shoes (basically sandals or boots) in the shoe rack by the garage door (our main entrance.) Soccer cleats in the garage. All other shoes in upstairs closets.

Don't most people have closets by the front door for outer wear clothing?
some might. We do not. Our entryway from the garage is thru the laundry room, but the furnace, hotwater heater and water softener are also there so there isnt anywhere to put a closet or coat rack. Thinking about it, I don't think I've ever lived in a house that had a closet by the main door. Maybe the front door, but not the door people actually use.

Might be a warm/cold climate thing. Would be highly unusual to find a home without one here. Some really old house maybe.

Various places - garage (for boots), bedroom closet, near the front door, who keeps shoes on a table? How bizarre.
