Does anyone have a good off-site idea of where to stay during Christmas? Any tips for handling that time of year?

Hi. For tips: Try the www.***************** site for help. We used their suggestions this past Christmas and it was very helpful. According to their plan, MGM was best park to go to on Christmas Day (smallest crowds). We went there late in the afternoon and had a fabulous time. Hope this helps. (We stay at our own vacation home.)

That site is like Voldemort to Harry Potter...it is he that must not be named! LOL

Let me give you a hint...go to google and enter in the search terms "disney crowd index" and you will find it pops up first.

We're staying off site at Windsor Hills in a 4 br pool home and will be using Tourguide MIke to help us navigate way to many people! LOL

OOPS!!! Sorry, I apoligize for the faux pass!!!! Also, another tip. Regarding eating out.....Make sure your make ADR's for restaurants onsite WDW (and reservations for those places off-site that take them)

We also used Tourguide Mike this last trip (week before Christmas).

We've been lots and lots of times but had never used him before this last trip. It costs about $20 and was well worth it. We'll use him from now on.

I can honestly say that he made a huge difference in our trip. We saw lots of crowds - just not usually where we were! ;)

BTW, we stayed at Cypress Pointe Grande Villas (about a mile from Downtown Disney).
