I haven't been to the US in years and this is our first WDW trip ever!!!!:banana::banana:

We are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort and have a rental car. Where would you reccomend grocery shopping (store and location)? I just need to pick up breakfast items and snacks.

Also, as I'm unfamiliar with the grocery stores, could you describe how they are different (like if they are like an Ontario Superstore or Metro, or a discount grocery store like No Frills or Food Basics)

Feel free to reccomend specific products too -- this is all new to me!!!

Thanks... I really appreciate it :thumbsup2

I second Publix. Like most American grocery stores, it's a superstore type place. They sell freakin' everything, and their prices are pretty amazing if you're from Canada.
Note: don't park too far away from the entrance, or you'll have to lug your groceries. Their carts lock their wheels if you try to take them more than about 150 feet out of the store.

Publix it is! Thanks so much to both of you for taking the time to reply -- and thanks for the tip about the wheels locking...

I didn't know about Publix on my last trip, but the Wal Mart supercenter was pretty convenient (despite the $0.50 or $0.75 toll).

3250 Vineland Rd
Kissimmee, FL 34746, United States
(407) 397-1125

This Wal Mart had a very thorough food section, foam coolers, good inexpensive wine (Yellow Tail Shiraz, 1.14 litre, $10), cheap american beer and the usual Wal Mart stuff. There is a liquor store attached (separate entrance) with good prices. You will pay the same price for 750 ml (24 oz) at this liquor store as you would pay for a mickey (375 ml / 12 oz) on property.

We liked the Super Target. It has groceries, souvenirs, and SO MUCH more. :thumbsup2
