Where do you purchase your park tickets?

at the park? Online? Part of your package? Good neighbor hotel?
I've purchased from Disneyland online twice, but curious what my other options are :)

At the parks... But I'm military, so my options are purchasing at the park, or through my MWR. MWR is 190 miles away, so $24 or so in gas (and 3 hours of driving each way)... Or MWR can send them to me, for $25. Seems easiest to just buy them at the park for me ;)

If Disney is offering a good deal on hotels covering our trip dates (we always stay on-site), than I usually book a package (including tickets) through Costco. You get the same discount offered on the Disneyland website, plus a bunch of Costco exclusive perks. If Disney ISN'T offering a discount during our trip dates, than I'll use a promo code for a discount through Orbitz or Cheaptickets for the hotel and get my parkhoppers separately through the Disneyland website. I never pay the extra fee to have them sent to me; I just print out the e-tickets and take them to the turnstiles.

We usually get ours online through Ares travel. They've always saved us a few dollars off the Disney prices and that helps when I have the Canadian exchange rate to contend with!

Last Minute Travel, online. You have to call to find Disney Tickets unless you are a club member it won't show up online, but they have them! They are cheaper than anywhere I've found. We just used them for our trip we just returned from. They email you PDF tickets that you print and take to the turnstiles, where they scan the barcode and print regular tickets for you. It's super easy and saves money!

GAT, Parksavers, Orbitz, and most recently Ares. A positive benefit through Disney and maybe a few others, but not the ones I've used, is you can go straight to the gates. When I go in October and want to be at rd, I have to factor in going to the ticket booth first and redeeming a voucher for my tickets.

One more idea if you have a Kroger-brand grocery and gas station nearby. I buy my tickets there. It's full gate price, but I get the gas points. When they are doing the 4x gas promotion, I'd get 940 points for a $235 2-day PH. That's 90 cents off gas. If I take my van and my husband's truck to the gas station and get the full 35 gallons allowed, I save $31 off. So that's almost 9% off the ticket. You couldn't do this with too many tickets or you'd have more gas rewards than you could use in the 2-month time period to redeem them.

Just one more idea,

Flight Centre in Canada. I can buy in Canadian dollars and right before the price increase when I bought mine last year with the exchange rate they were still cheaper than LMT's everyone gets in for the kids' price deal.

ETA might have been ParkSavers that had that deal - it's been a while!

I use Last Minute Travel. You do have to be a club member to see the tickets (but you can find a promo code easily enough), then you will get a confirmation, then a voucher that you ultimately take to the gate. It is worth the money saved.

Last minute travel. We bought 5 day park hoppers recently and they were $280 each. The cheapest we have seen ( we live in Australia so don't have access to some other deals that are available).

If you don't want to sign up for club member, you can also just call the main number and they will tell you pricing and you can buy over the phone. You won't see the option online unless you're a club member, but pricing is the same for tix either way.

I used Ares, thinking it would save me money being a Canadian. I had such a hard time to get the tickets, it took half an hour and I didn't know until the very end whether I would get my tickets at all.

Yes, this is true. People have also said that LMT is also the same as Sam's Club. Someone else had mentioned calling, so I wanted to let the OP know they could also go online.

Do a search for Last Minute travel coupon code. I found a code that gave me the membership for free.

Keep in mind that DISNEY is ending discount ticket programs in mid-September for groups such as credit unions, etc.. So places like Last Minute Travel could be affected, too- but am not sure if they have a different deal with DISNEY or not.

Both of my trips, for 5 day Park Hoppers, American Airlines (.com.au for me, and under Plan travel, Activities, Anaheim, Theme Parks) has been the cheapest. Just be aware it can take few days for the tickets to be emailed, so it's not something to do at the last minute.

I usually just buy them through Disneyland's website. Occasionally I'll find a good deal at a grocery store or something, but typically it's easier for me to just book a package through Disney with the hotel and tickets so I can pay for it over the course of 6 months to a year. If I was better at saving money or had more money to spend, I might do it another way, but the discounts I find typically aren't much different anyway (I have notoriously bad luck finding the deals others seem to find all the time).
