just wondering any reasonable websites or do you go directly thru disney? disney is running a promo now w/a package which includes hoppers, preferred seating at 4 CA shows, 1 early entry, etc.

thanks.

I buy online directly from Disneyland.com and choose the print-at-home option.

We have purchased through AAA (for free parking) and also lastminutetravel to save some money. However, buying thru LMT makes you have to stop at the ticket booths which can really be a bummer when you are ready & rarin' to get into the parks.

We have bought them at AAA for free parking, through the teacher's union for a small discount, and online at the Disney site. Last year we got our APs through the teacher's union at a discount.

I got mine thru getawaytoday this time because they still offered the old prices before the price hike!!:goodvibes I have purchased them on the Disney site and thru AAA before and Ares travel too. Never had any problems!:goodvibes

We usually do Disney, did before the price increase. Couple of years back it was AAA and then Costco. Do not like an extra trip to the ticket booths.

Though it may not be part of the OPs visit I wanted to add a little tip.

Ticket vouchers can be exchanged in the Toy Story lot if you are parking there.

Although since you will be on the shuttle in about 2 minutes it's possible it could slow you down there, but still faster than the ticket booths. But don't worry if you miss the first shutttle because the next one will be pulling up right behind it.

we were just @ disneyland last week and stayed at the tropicana on harbor. as we were checking in, we asked about the price increase and they said they still have the OLD tickets, therefore, were able to give us the pre-june12th increase price! it was a nice surprise considering we had to pay for parking that was unexpected. i would check out your hotel's front desk (you can phone them) and see if you can purchase them ahead of time or if they will have them available on your arrival date.

Where can I purchase parkhoppers online and NOT have to go to the ticket booth first ?

I want to go straight to the turnstyles right away !:thumbsup2

How does the Disney Store parkhoppers compare in price to online ?

Thanks :wizard:

Do the ticket booths usually have a long line up? We will be arriving at the park on a sunday afternoon, mid july and will have to trade in our vouchers. We purchased them at Flight Centre and got an awesome deal- 6 day adult hoppers for $196!!

are you a member of AAA? I haven't checked this week, but as of last week, they had the old prices still. If you are a member and are not leaving too soon, it gets mailed to you for free, so no going to the ticket booth!

We purchase ours through our travel agent who gets them from Fun Sun tours. We do have to exchange ours at the ticket booth but don't really have an issue with doing that:confused3. We didn't get any extras like you described but was able to get a 7 day hopper for $197 each which includes 1 MM day. *note* I am from Canada therefore we have the longer hopper passes here but there have been many threads where Dis'ers from the US were able to purchase them from Canada and use them.:thumbsup2

I have never had to wait more than 2 minutes to pick up tickets at the ticket booths. Most times I don't have a wait at all. I usually have to pick up character meal vouchers anyways so I get them all at once. It is nice to have your tickets in hand when you go, but just saying..IMO its only a few minutes out of the day to pick them up. :goodvibes

If you stayed at a Good Neighbor Hotel and bought a package, would they have your tickets when you check in?

Check the gift card kiosks in shopping centers- our Safeway store has 3day park hoppers(both Child and Adult) Adult PH are $186. They also sell Disneyland GC.

Just so you guys know, if you do end up buying park hoppers from flight centre in canada, the 8 day are the same price as the 7 day...might as well take that extra day....then even when you are not at the park for the full day you can go in for a few hours in the evening and not feel bad.

I get them at grocery stores. I like having the hard plastic card instead of the laminated paper ones. I find it's the most convient for me this way.
