Where do you pick up purchases on way home

I can't find it now, but I thought I read that you can pick up your items at a shop in Main St. USA. You'll need to allow a couple of hours for it to arrive at the pick-up location. (Does one of you DL veterans know?)

If you are staying at one of the 3 onsite hotels, you can have your purchases delivered to your hotel.

I believe everything can be picked up at the WoD in DTD... At least that's where I was told to pick up my crystal sculpture when I was there my first trip.

I may be wrong,but i think it's the newstand by the west tunnel as you leave
the park.i think. The couple of hours lead time sounds about right though.Or just do like we do and drag your purchaces ALL OVER the park ALL DAY LONG.Not very bright i know.

I believe the system has changed. It is my understanding that they no longer move all the purchases to one location for pick up. You may however, leave them at a couple places, and pick them up later.

This is what the map says, which backs that up:
"Shop and check your purchases for pick up later in the day at these locations: Newstand (main enterance), The Star Trader (tomoorrowland) or Pioneer Mercantile (frontierland). Resort guests may have purchases delivered to bell services for next day pick up after 7am. Certain restrictions apply".

It makes sense to not have everyone go to one location at the end of the day. But how do you know which place to go to, do they tell you? And what if you make purchases at several different places, can you request that they send it all to one location?

As for sending it to the hotel, thought I'd read that the purchases would be available for pick-up by 8pm that same day. If it's not available until the next day, we nay have to carry some of the kids' purchases with us (ie. toys the kids will want to play with in the room.)

It will be at the same store you left it at. If you make a purchase elsewhere you have to carry it to one of the 3 to leave it.

It does take overnight to get things to the hotel. I would only send thing like collectibles, that you dont want to carry and chance breaking. Toys and clothes- might as well keep them with you, you never know when you'll need them!

Oh, rats! I was hoping to minimize the amount of stuff we have to carry around by having things sent to the hotel. I guess I'll have to time my shopping accordingly then. (And travelling with 3 males, I don't imagine I'll get a lot of time for it anyway!)
