I just listened to the e-mail show and loved the idea of the listener enjoying the podcast in the salt mine. Anyone else have any interesting place(s) they've listened to the podcast?

Edited to add list of places (should I add unique places, like salt mines and gyms, too?)

In just 2 pages of posts, we've got at least 15 states, 3 countries and 4 continents (I'll update as more people add their info):

I liked that one too!! I cannot even imagine working in salt mine!!
i'm just boring I guess, I listen in the car or while doing housework, or to tune out the kids!:lmao:

i went houseboating for a week on Lake Powell and listened to them while relaxing on the top of our houseboat out in the middle of nowhere. Everyone else would look at me funny when i burst out in laughter every few minutes.

I usually listen when I'm on a long run on the treadmill or during physical therapy to time my stretches. I also like to listen when I'm in the World traveling to the parks on the buses or waiting on the long lines to get to the attractions. The most exotic place I've listened is Antarctica when I was down there for the marathon (I didn't listen while running - just when I was on the ship).

I listen to them while I'm power walking. Same thing with the funny looks from people when I burst out laughing... :rotfl:

I don't know if this counts as interesting or just plain strange but I listened to that very email show (11/4) in between bands at the Enslaved and Dimmu Borgir concert last week....My buddies went to refresh their drinks and check out the Merch and I stayed back to hold our spots....So it is fair to say that it is the first time in Disuplugged history that it has been listened to at a Black Metal concert :lmao:

That you know of. ;)

I listen when doing things around the kitchen. Or when I am at work at the funeral home - when I need a break in between meeting with families and hosting visitations!

Boring me - in the car going to work. Sometimes we go visit my Mom about an hour away and we stop at a shooting range that he likes out there. He goes and practices and I listen to the podcast, we both win. Penny:goodvibes

I listen while working on military lasers that get installed in various ground-assault vehicles. One of the lasers also gets installed in a Naval vessel.

So the next time you see a tank, or other bad [butt] piece of military machinery; just know that its laser might've been worked on while someone was 'having a laugh' during the Dis podcast. ;)

I was very thankful for the podcast when my dryer went out and I had to spend a few weeks doing the family laundry at the laundromat. You don't see too many smiling faces at the laundromat, but I had a good time thanks to the podcast!

I listen mostly at work but I get interrupted a lot so many nights I will listen while laying in bed while I'm on here lol

I bike to/from work most of the time so if I'm not biking with DH, I listen on my bike ride (30 minutes each way).

I've also listened when traveling away from home - I have photos of me on a boat in rural Cambodia listening to the Dis.

I've also listened a lot when I've been working away from home (so all around New Zealand). I remember distinctly walking back from my client site in Auckland to my hotel when Pete talked about Bob passing away - it was all I could do to get back to my hotel room before bursting into tears...

I've also listened on cruises around Australia, the French Pacific and Hawaii (trying not to spend the whole time wishing I was at Disney instead and talking about Disney).

totally off subject.. I LOVE LAKE POWELL!!!!

I have a 40 minute commute that is usually full of nasty traffic. So I usually listen while breaking in nasty traffic.

Same as most of you...at work!

Although, since I work at a church, I never listen to Pete sign off. Don't want our senior pastor to walk in when he says, "and stay out of the d**n lakes!"
