where do you keep your passes?

we are leaving TOMORROW and was wondering where you all kept your park passes. i got mine from UT and they are hoppers. i am sooo afraid of losing them as i travel thru the parks, etc. - do you keep them in your wallets and carry a wallet to the parks? jean pockets? etc. - just curious. i didn't want to carry my big wallet but may just have to!

If you are staying at a Disney Resort, just present the park hopper tickets at check-in. They will add them to your "key to the world" card. (your room key) You can also use this as a charge card. The great think is if you lose your key, you can get it replaced. If you are staying off site, you will need to carry your park hopper with you.

I talk my husband in to wearing a fanny pack and let him carry them .

Just don't want the kids holding on to their own, in my opinion that is just asking for one to get lost. At least with my kids anyways.

You may already know this, but don't put your tickets in the same pocket as your cell phone. The cell phone can demagnetize the tickets. We had this happen to us more than once before a CM finally told us what was causing the problem.

Make a photocopy of your passes...I was keeping ours in my shorts pocket and tossed them in the washing machine at the hotel. The concierge replaced them (on my room key as noted by a previous poster) within minutes because I'd taken the advice on the Dis to make copies showing the pass numbers

I always take my business cards out of my business card holder and keep them there. I also keep my photopass and fastpasses there as well. Just as OKWMom says, don't put them near your cell phone or any type of magnet or you'll be making a trip to guest services. Not handy if you're getting a fastpass!

might be too late for you... but I got "badge holders" at Wal-Mart something like 1.50 for 10 of the plastic pouches. Then we hang them around our necks on those big pin trader lanyard things. Mine has Sorcerer Mickey, DH has Stitch etc.

My husband bought a waterproof case that comes attached on a lanyard to carry his pass, our photopasses, an extra credit card and some cash(he still had room to spare). We got it at the Beach Club giftshop. I believe they are sold in a lot of places in WDW. You can kind of see it in my sig in the picture with Mickey. If you need a better picture I can get one, or ask him how much it was just let me know.

I have a neck pouch (kind of like a lanyard) that I wear under my shirt. I picked it up at a ski shop so Its waterproof, flexible, small and very durable. Perfect size for passes, cash and the trusty CC.

Last trip, I carried mine in my back pocket. My left back pocket was for Driver's License, Credit Card. My right back pocket was for room key/park passes, (we had the hard plastic kind) & fast passes. I didn't have any problems with getting things wet or lost.

Previous trips, I used a fanny pack. Also works very well, I just didn't get one this time. I like the very small ones.

My mother, of course, brought her PURSE into the parks. She is not a big ride-goer.

I am not a big fan of lanyards.

However, I bought a lanyard w/ holder @ Walmart for $1 or $2. They are over w/ the key chains in Accessories next to Jewelry. This holds our passes, room keys, photopasses.

I make a copy (front & back) of our passes and credit cards. I keep a copy in our room safe and a copy w/ MIL at home.

On my last trip (2005), I wanted to add my hoppers to my room key, but was told it was not possible because I did not buy them directly from Disney (I, too, had passes from UT).

Has this changed? I'd love to consider this for our next trip coming up.

DH carries all the tickets in his wallet, and we hand them out at the entrance of the theme parks. He collects them after entering, i'll hold them at places like splash mountain or Kali. We put his wallet in the backpack at places like that. It's worked the past for trips. I carried them in a small handbag, in my wallet one trip he didn't go. I don't like lanyards.

yes - the lanyards are the best bet...or the fanny pack - or BUM BAG if you're from UK...don't say "fanny" in UK!!!

...I dare you to ask me why!

I have a shoulder/messenger type bag that I used last time. My pass, as well as my dd's, went in the front slot. I kept having issues with the passes not working..had to get them replaced three times!! Just couldn't figure it out. Finally, I had an ephiphany...my bag has a large magnet, all covered up, on the front flap. Of course, that flap was covering the slot where the passes were. Duh!!!! I know better, but somehow didn't even think of it. So, started using one of the water proof thingies that hang around your neck. No problem after that. Man, did I feel stupid though. Had to apologize to the CM at AK for giving her a hard time about my demagnatized AP!!
Dh had an issue when he carried his in his pocket that was close to his cellphone and again when he had a money clip rather than a wallet.

I use a plastic case on a cord that I bought at POFQ. It has the resort logo on it. I saw them at other resorts, too with those logos.
