Where do you go to eat..other then WDW?

I eat at the Ale house at least a few times a month. The first of the Ale houses is in my towm. It is a chain through Florida. My oldest daughter worked there in high school as a hostess.
They have the best wings on the PLANET!!!! The ZINGER melt is AMAZING! It is boneless wings topped with sour cream, melted cheese, and salsa. BAM! Its amazing!
They also have the BIGGEST CHICKEN NACHO'S In the universe. It is impossible to finish....but yummy trying. The loaded fries are also nothing to laugh at. The french fries are covered with bacon, cheese and much more. It is GINORMOUS.

The seafood is greatand the prices are terrific. On Wednesdays they have a super lobster special too. Anyway, you can not go wrong at the ALE HOUSE. Plus you will find a lot of CM's eating there too. It is a popular spot.

OK I just got home from the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party. I was down at RV City at the stadium. Tomorrow is Florida/Georgia. Going back soon. Forgot towels of all things. I'm cooking tomorrow but now that I saw this thread I'm heading to Jacksonville Ale House. I'll mention you guy's and tell them about the great advertising on Disboards. I go there often but not lately. Tonights the night lol.

We have an Ale House in Lakeland, but I actually drive a bit further and go to the one by the Fort!!

BTW - The BEST WINGS on the Planet are at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. That's where it all began! (However, Ale House's Wings are very worthy, indeed!)

We like the Ale House as well. And sometimes it's fun to go to Sweet Tomatoes up on (off?) I-drive. It's a bit of a hike but we don't have it in NJ so it's worth it to us. They have a salad bar, pasta & soup, and bread. Not so great if you're watching the carbs.

We have Chevy's and Joe's (and Macaroni Grill) here so would skip them in FL.

OP, I know you don't want to make ADRs, but Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is worth it! Boma, the buffet, is good too. We find AKL to be almost as relaxing as the Fort. It's our favorite hotel-resort at WDW.

If you dont mind a short drive down 192 to St. Cloud.....I highly recommend The Catfish Place. http://www.florida-secrets.com/Restaurants/EC/CatfishPlace.htm It has any kind of seafood you want and at a very decent price. Lunch specials start around $5 and the most expensive (huge platter) is $20. MMMMmmmm I cant wait to eat there again!
