My DH and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary while in WDW in January. This trip will mostly be a "cheap trip" so we will be doing CS for most of our meals, but hey....after 25 years I think we deserve at least one nice dinner!

Any suggestions for someplace special, but that is still fun to celebrate at? We will be there with our family DS-17, DS-22, and DS's girlfriend-21. Oh, and it has to be somewhere that we can order a bottle of champagne :woohoo:, so the MK is out.

Jiko's at the AKL is one of the best restaurants on property, especially for a "special" celebration. :thumbsup2 Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere, and relatively quiet (for WDW  ).

I vote for Narcoossee's. If it weren't for food and wine, we would be eating there for my birthday next week:)

We celebrated our 27th anniversary at the world last month.
I scheduled JIKO, Artist Point, and California Grill for the day before, day of, and day after.
By far, California Grill was the "most special". We had mickey confetti on our table, a wonderful view, and an amazing waiter. He let us try different wines before deciding, gave us a free picture to celebrate the occasion, and the food was heavenly.
Didn't care for the atmosphere at JIKO (we were seated in the wine bar with a group of 14 LOUD women friends.) I'm like that too with my GF's, but dang, they knew it was our anniversary. Just us and the big party.
The food was okay but not great.
AP was good, but again, didn't feel especially special.

Make sure when you make your ADR's that you mention it is your anniversary.
All three acknowledged it.
JIKO, a card; AP, a small glass of champagne; and CG, mikey confetti, great table and complementary photo of us.

I think that with the age of your children, Ca Grill will be best. Our DS31, DS28, and DS26 like it very much, and so do we. Jiko and Artiste Pointe are more subdued although both offer good food.

Thanks for the suggestions! :flower3:

I had been wondering about the California Grill because my DH could get his sushi fix there. :goodvibes

This is a major selling point for us too. In our group of 8 adults, half love sushi and the other half wouldn't touch it. Ca Grill offers such a variety that everyone can have something they totally enjoy. And the sushi is very good quality. Dang, now I'm hungry.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Artist Point. Food, atmosphere, service-all were excellent. They gave us personalized menus and as you can see, we got a beautiful table.
