where do you go in orlando to get tuxes?

Disney will (if they haven't already) a list of preferred vendors for tuxes. I would go with Carolyn Allen (they also recommend them for dress pressing, preservation, etc.). I just had my planning session last week and while I was in Orlando, I went to check out Carolyn Allen (a friend who lives in Orlando got her dress and the tuxes there and she highly recommends them). They were so nice! I even tried some dresses on while I was there and I think I am going to order my dress from them. They will drop off the dress and/or tuxes to your hotel. They will also pick everything back up after the wedding for you. If they pick up your dress, you can have them preserve it and ship it to your home. I also think they will come to your hotel for fittings, etc. It sure beats having to lug it to FL for the wedding! I think After Hours Formal Wear also does the same thing for tuxes.

We hired from Carollyn Allens and they were fabulous. They fitted the men first, then dropped off & picked back up when we were done. I also had my dress steamed when they dropped off the suits. Highly recommend them. www.carolynallens.com

When I purchased my wedding gown from David's Bridal, I signed up for a promotion where each of our groomsmen get $20 off their tux rental and the groom gets his free... I told him we were getting married at Disney and he said no problem. My question is, I have heard AFter Hours will drop off and pick up at the hotel in Disney, is that accurate? Just wondering. Thanks.

We actually got fitted at Carolyn Allen's during our planning session visit, and found them to be a little rude. We ended upgoing with After Hours Conventions and they were WONDERFUL! We worked with Linda DeMarco, and she was so nice and helpful.

They delivered all of our tuxes to our hotel 2 days prior to the wedding for the fittings, and picked up DH's tux 2 days after the wedding at our BW garden suite when we finished our MK Photos.

She communicated well via email and was actually slightly less expensive than CA's. But if you also need your dress steamed, I would go with CA's. I didn't need to do that.

Of course, this was over a year ago, so things might have changed.

we used carolyn allen's for the guys tuxes, it was very convinient as they were delivered to our room at disney where they were also fitted & then were picked up from the yacht club the day after the wedding, the tuxes/package we went with was $119 each. i also used carolyn allen's for mine & the girls dress steamings. i was very pleased with everything.

I HIGHLY recommend absolutelyfitting.com The manager is meeting my fiance and his best man the day before the wedding, at our hotel, to do the fitting. And the day of the wedding. The manager is coming back to deliver the tuxes. He is also picking them back up. We had a lot of other things to remember, without having to worry about the tuxes. Good luck! For those of you in the US, I would recommend Mens Wearhouse. Our bridal party is scattered across the country and they have been great to work with it. They have a location near the airport in Orlando.

We used After Hours.....it was soooo convenient. My husband and family members get measured at our local After Hours and the staff there sent the order down to the Orlando After Hours. It worked perfectly and the tuxes were REALLY nice

We picked them up ourselves (we had a car with us). It was easy to find the mall, and if I remember right, the drive was less than 30 minutes. My parents dropped them back off for us after our MK photo shoot 2 days later

We used Carolyn Allen's as well. I shipped my dress and my daughter's dress to her before we left for Florida. She delivered our dresses (already steamed) when she cam to the Beach Club for the tux fitting on Saturday afternoon. She said normall they don't deliver dresses and tuxes at the same time, but since our fitting was the last one of the day, she would make an exception. She took the pieces of our tuxes that didn"t fit back with her and delivered the corrected pieces on Monday by noon. Our vow renewal was Monday at 4:00pm.

She was very professional and brought several pairs of shoes and jackets back with her on Monday so that we would be sure to have items that fit for our boys (4 & 7).

We went with the basic tuxedos for $115 but added the champagne colored Mickey vests and ties for an additional $15. My boys had tuxedos with tails and my father-in-law just had a basic tuxedo jacket that matched the boys--without the tails.

The next morning we just left our tuxedos with Bell Services at the Beach Club and someone from Carolyn Allen's picked them up.

We used Carolyn Allen's, too! They were FANTASTIC with the tuxes - we had one usher who told them he had a 34 inch waist when he sent in his measurements - when he got there (the day before the wedding) the tux didn't fit - he had not been properly measured. At any rate, Carolyn Allen's was able to get him the right tux in even that limited time frame.
