Cape May? Flying Fish? Others?

We have a non-park day and my 66 year old mother's only request of the entire trip is that we have seafood that night. We'll have a four year old with us too.

bluezoo at the Dolphin is my first choice, Flying Fish and Narcoossee's follow close behind.

Among the choices above, Fulton's in Downtown Disney, too.

I'd reccomend flying fish. It's not only our favorite seafood restaurant, but our favorite place to eat on property period.

Depends on what you want. If you're on the dining plan, Cape May is 1 TS credit and much more casual than all the others mentioned. It's also a buffet. The others mentioned (Flying Fish, Narcoossee's, Fulton's) are 2 TS credits and while they aren't "fancy", they are signature restaurants. Bluezoo is not on the dining plan, but along the same lines in terms of price/atmosphere as the signatures mentioned.

We'd be most comfortable at Cape May, especially with a four year old in tow, but buffets are not everyone's cup of tea.

Blue Zoo!! We loved everything about this place. The simply fish is great, and their dirty south swordfish was one of the best pieces of fish I'd ever had. Don't even get me started on the cocktails and desserts!

For us Cape May is a nice casual meal with a good mix of decent seafood as well as non-seafood options. It is not fine dining but that's not why we go to WDW.

The Potato Wrapped Red Snapper at Flying Fish is the best fish meal I have ever had. We are going back on the Dining Plan in May and we didn't book it because we loaded up on character experiences for our kids and I told my wife I couldn't go back without eating there so we will be paying out of pocket just to have that dish again. It is the thing I am most looking forward to this trip!

For seafood our go-tos are bluezoo, Fulton's, Narcoossee's and Flying Fish Café.

We avoid Cape May Café. We've given that place 3 tries, they struck out and we're OUT!

If the 4 y.o. is potty-trained, they may go to Camp Dolphin (free with entree purchase at blueZoo or Swanphin Signatures) and get a free meal with ice cream. My kids loves letting her parents enjoy a nice dinner.

blueZoo has choices for whole fish (only Al Forno serves a whole fish on Disney Dining) and many fish options and would also be my first choice. On the other hand, I would put both Narcoossee's & Flying Fish a bit further behind than being close-second.....particularly when factoring in free childcare....

I still recommend both Flying Fish (potato scaled snapper) & Narcoossee's (calamari w/ spicy peppers).

If Salmon is the favored fish, Artist Point presentation of the cedar plank-cooked fish is lovely too.

One fun spot with the kid and and a seafood-centered menu is Coral Reef inside Epcot. It's not Signature food, but it's not Signature prices either....and the view is priceless.

If you are paying out of pocket then I would recommend Blue Zoo. However, if you are on the DDP my personal two favorites are Narcoossee's and Flying Fish. Both of these are always on our to do list when we are in Disney and this is certainly the case for our upcoming trip in June. :goodvibes

Flying fish is amazing!! My favorite restaurant in Disney. And they have a great kids dessert-Mickey puzzle made out of white chocolate with edible paints for kids to be creative with. It was still there in November the last time I ate there.

On Friday nights Garden Grove at The Swan does a really good seafood buffet. We ate there last month and met Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Goofy. It's not on the dining plan, but it is an all you can eat buffet with boiled shrimp, prime rib, crab claws, and lots of sides plus they bring each adult half of a stuffed lobster and a basket of fried seafood.

That sounds very good.

Narcoosees for us, our kids have been going there with us since they were 3 & they love it too, it is always one of our most magical meals at Disney.
