I typically mail order them since it's cheaper to buy what I need in bulk!

I go to Target, I find it to be very reasonable and I love their bottles.

I get them all at the same major-chain drugstore for a few reasons.

1. It is close to my house. Duh.

2. They're all over the country, so if we need refills when out of town, there isn't the waiting while they call back and forth and all that.

3. If we want a list of all the meds we've taken, it is easy to get.

4. When the pharmacy screws up, they're much more likely to believe they screwed up when hearing it from a regular customer.

5. The hours are great and the lines aren't usually long. I should have stuck this higher up on the list. :)

Always Walgreens. Our insurance company switched from a mail order for the 3 month supplies of maintenance meds, to allowing Walgreens to do the same function. So now I don't have to deal with the amil, just hop on over to Walgreens.

I don't know if anyone knows this, but Publix has a list of free antibiotics for prescriptions. I would go there if I needed one of these. I mean, free is free.;)

The closest pharmacy is at Kmart. They've become more competitive in their prices with Walmart being just around the corner. I paid $6 for one prescription the other day.

When I get meds for 3 months at a time, I can do that in the pharmacy at the hospital. Nice! So glad to get rid of mail order!

Walgreen's and WalMart.

For those of you that are on the required 3 months maintenence meds from insurance, don't forget to check WalMart's 4.00 meds.

My dd is on Prozac and it is cheaper to get it at WalMart with no insurance or the same. The doc can prescribe any amount and we don't have to tangle with the "insurance requirements" of how it is written.

So far this year we have avoided her deductible.:thumbsup2

Walgreens. They have all our information there and watch out for any meds that might not go with another. So far they have caught a few mistakes over the years.

Mail order. The insurance covers most of it and I can do it on the phone or on-line. It's really simple, and I appreciate how convenient it is compared to going to a brick & mortar pharm(which I occasionally do for those asap meds.)
