Where do you get photopass+?

So I kinda dropped the ball & didn't order photopass ahead of time because I thought it might be a waste of money. Regret has kicked in now I want it. The DL website doesn't seem to have any info about how to get it if you're not ordering 14 days in advance.

Is this something we can get at the ticket booth or is there a store inside DL we have to go to or is it really just too late? We'll be in Anaheim tomorrow but not going to DL until Monday. I'd like to be able to get it this weekend if possible because we're doing the surfs up character breakfast before going to the parks on Monday so I'm afraid we won't get pictures from that.

In DCA there is a photo shop that sells them. Its on the right after you enter through the main entrance.

I believe the only places you can buy it on-site are the photo shop on Main Street in DL and the shop in DCA.

ETA: I think you can get a photopass card from the photographer at breakfast and then have those photos added to the PP+ when you buy it.

No they don't put the character breakfast pictures on photo pass at all. The pictures are hard copies. However, some have had success going back and getting them. You can talk to the greeters when you go for breakfast.

As others have said, you can purchase PP+ at the main photo shop in DL (end of Main Street, across from the Corndog stand) and DCA (first shop on the right as you enter, just pass the lockers). You can also purchase PP+ at the character meals.

Interesting, this must be a recent change. When I went to Surf's Up for breakfast in November, we got the hard copies of the photos, but there were also some photos added to our PP+ card. Maybe it's because we already had our card and gave it the photographer when we were taking our photo with Mickey.

Maybe I'm wrong. We've never done that meal. We've only done Minnie's and the only photographer there is the one outside, no photographers in the breakfast. I guess the pictures did show up on our card, but they were the same ones that we got a hard copy of. The hard copy is expensive, but it's free with Photo Pass +, one of the benefits of the card.

At Surf's Up, the only Photopass photographer was the one at the entrance with Mickey. We got hard copies of two poses (I think), but there were additional photos added to our card (I think we ended with a total of four or five different photos from the meeting with Mickey).

I don't think they'll put them on a regular photo pass card though; I think it's only the photo pass + card. Though maybe if you buy the pictures they'd put them on a photo pass card. Not sure. In any case, OP should ask at the meal and let them know you are buying the card at the photo store when you go in the park. They may accommodate you. Keep in mind that the card costs more at the park and doesn't come with the disc of character photos.

They were also selling the PP+ at Surf's Up in November. When they brought the hard copies to the table, they inquire if guests would be interested in purchasing PP+ at that point.

When we went to Goofy's Kitchen in March, we got the hard copies as well as all of the pictures on our PP+.

It is a lot cheaper if you order it online too. I love the PP+, it's well worth the $$$.

I bought Photo Pass + in the park in January and it does come with the disk of character/park photos. Not that that's a big deal to me, I like printing my pics. Just wanted to clarify.

I also thought it was worth the purchase prices, even though I goofed up and didn't order ahead of time.

Good to know it came with the disc. All info I have seen said you only received it if ordering online. It is still a good deal, but better if people order online ahead of time.

I actually ended up purchasing this thanks to this thread. I still had my photopass from years ago (which when I went alone was golden to me remembering the trip) but I remember paying probably about the same as I just threw at it for the CD and like... six prints in '07.

If from what I read it goes up 30 dollars on site ($99) that's quite a difference, especially if it comes with physical prints.

Thanks for posting this! I didn't even think about buying one beforehand!

Also, that link didn't work for me, I had to go through the help section which gives this link: www.disneyphotopass.com/dlrphotopassplus.aspx

Before it would add to my cart.
