Does anyone know where to find Walt Disney World audio files? Back when Napster and Kazaa were big, I used to download TONS of Walt Disney World tracks and I loved them so much. Now I don't have a good place to find them anymore.

Here are the files I'm looking for:

audio from rides and attractions
audio from parades, shows and fireworks
audio from park opening ceremonies
park area music
etc...

I'm looking for a good place to find these files without the risk of viruses, and glitches. I appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks

There are some files here:
Sounds of Magic

Mostly area music. There used to be a WDW Media site I went to , but the link no longer works & I haven't found it again.... wish I could - it had audio & video files for almost all the attractions...... Of course all the files I had from that site were loaded on a different computer & didn't make the transfer to the newer one.....

If you have access to a Usenet news server, the newsgroup alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks has tons of audio.

DisneyDude! Thanks! :cool1: You have made me a very Happy Camperette!

How do you know if you can access a Usenet news server? :confused3

Do you have to pay for access? :confused3

Can you explain then a little bit more? :confused3

THANKS!

ekmdisney, it should be part of your ISP access, along with email. Check with your ISP for details.

Over time, you should be able to find ride audio and background music from every ride, show and area in WDW, plus the occasional video. Some of the files are so good, I doubt they're recorded by guests alone.

Don't forget www.live365.com

Sign up is free and if you do a search for Disney it will bring up quite a few different Disney radio stations that you can listen to on your computer (two of my favorites are Intercot and Park Hopper Radio). Also they have a feature where you can buy and download the individual songs (I've not tried that yet but plan to get my husband to start making me some CD's soon). Intercot for example plays the Spaceship Earth ride dialogue (about 12+ minutes), the entire Haunted Mansion ride, monorail ads, zippity doo dah ads from the WDW TV, and much more. It's made sitting at my desk doing boring old secretarial work alot more tolerable.

Hope this helps!

If you're looking for something you can listen too (I don't think they allow downloads), then www.utilidors.com might be the best place for you to find it. They have music from all the parks, from new and extinct attractions and from the parades and shows. I listen to it whenever I need my Disney fix. It's great fun to hear things like the old Horizons attraction and the original Journey Into Your Imagination.

Thank you everybody, all of these suggestions are a GREAT start. I can't wait to try some of them out. My plan is to create a playlist that recreates my day at the Magic Kingdom. Starting with the opening cermony song, to area music on Mainstreet USA, all the attractions I went on that day, area music, Parades, shows, Spectromagic, and Wishes. I want to put all these in order so I can sit and re-experience my Magical day. I already have most of them, but I'm missing a few key ones.

Listening to Disney World audio helps me when regular life is getting too much for me.

I have AOL and have tried every which way, but I don't think I can access it. :confused3 If somebody has AOL and they can access alt.binaries.multimedia.disney.parks, maybe they could post directions. I am able to access newsgroups, but can't get that one, even with the custom add. I also tried to get Disney Central at http://www.wdwresorttv.com; which has tons of audio/video files. But between trying to set up mIRC and another program to access it, it was way too complicated. So I'll be checking out some of the sites listed here.
