My parents are taking the family to Branson  and just wondering where good places to eat are.

I know we are going to the Branson Belle on Saturday, and will more than likely eat lunch at Silver Dollar City or the Water Park and eat dinner out... would love some recommendations.

We are local, but lately we have been eating at Freddy's (for fast food) off the Bee Creek exit.

Most of the restaurants are chains. People like to eat at familiar places.

Danna's BBQ is awesome. We eat there every time we go to Branson. There one in Branson and one in Branson West.

we like danna's bbq too! we also eat at the mexican place at branson's landing. it's a chain, but we dont' have that near us. The guacamole is really good.

Yes we love Cantina Laredo at Branson Landing.

As another poster mentioned, my family loves the Dixie Stampede and they serve dinner during the show.

Everytime we go we eat at Lambert's. Its outside of Branson in Ozark I believe. Its not that far of a ride thought but always a fun place to eat. Its home of the throwed rolls.

We like to eat at Lambert's (though its maybe 30 mins north of Branson?) but we also like Fall Creek Steakhouse. It is a Lambert's "knock-off" as they also do the throwed rolls. Depending on which way we're driving there, we'll do Lambert's...but if we miss that, we go to Fall Creek for some throwed roll fun!

I know a group that always eats at the Farmhouse when in Branson. I think they mainly go for the homemade blackberry cobbler and apple dumplings.:thumbsup2

I also was going to say if you haven't been to Lambert's and especially if you have kids, you must go to Lamberts. Be prepared for a wait, pretty much any time of day. If you can go between meals, you will get in faster. But the food is pretty good. They walk around with containers of unlimited sides and of course they will throw you hot rolls across the restaurant. Lots of fun! And lots of good memories.

It is between Springfield and Branson.

We go to Lambert's in Sikeston a few times a year during soccer tournaments...so we will probably skip that.

Dana's sounds good. Is Montana Mike's a fancy steakhouse or just a regular steakhouse?

Danna's has the best nachos ever!!!! I will be craving them now!
We also like Ma's if you are over by the Kimberling bridge. Great breakfast.
It is a chain but Joe's Crab Shack at the Landing is good.
Also Clockers in old town Branson is good.

There is a great Italian restaurant near Branson Landings. It is Rocky's and I think it is locally owned. Much better than the chains IMO.

Lamberts in ozark if you can handle the wait.
Outback (Australian food and alligator... Not the chain!)
Landrys seafood
The Mexican place at Branson landing- someone else mentioned.
Plantation (omg great breakfast and wonderful green tomatoes)
Hard luck diner... They sing!!!

We just ate at Mel's Hard Luck Diner on Sat. Typical diner food but good, not too expensive and all the wait staff sing! Really neat as they wander through the restaurant while performing. Some of the singers have been on American Idol.

We like to eat at fall creek steakhouse as another poster mentioned. Very reasonable prices, and they throw rolls just like lamberts. Another place we love that I'm surprised no one else has mentioned is the restaurant at the Keeter center. The keeter center is a hotel owned by the College of the Ozarks, and all the employees there are students working for their tuition. The food is OUTSTANDING! The prices are very reasonable as well considering how unique and delicious the food is. We usually eat dinner there once a trip and stop in for brunch on sunday before we leave town. Here's a link to the restaurant: http://www.keetercenter.edu/dining.asp

dinner is included w/ the Dolly Parton show - it's fun and pretty good

We did that! It was hysterical! :) And yes, the food was pretty good.

We did NOT like the food at Dick Clark's. I may be a spoiled Californian but if you're going to say the sandwich comes on a "baguette" it should not show up on something that most resembles a hot dog bun!

Can anyone help out with food allergies. We r planning on going to Banson and I have food allergies.
