Where do you buy your tickets?

We are staying as guests of a DVC member and will need to purchase 7 day MYW with hopping and water parks. I like the idea of everything being on the one room key card. How do I do that? Do I wait to buy my tickets at SSR or can I add them to the ressie in advance? Is the best price from a ticket vendor instead? I appreciate any advice.

You can get minor discounts through a vendor, and I've read where they can get the passes added to your room key, as well (I assume they contact your resort). However, the savings are generally minimal to what you pay at a resort, and it may be less hassle to buy the tix at SSR and have them put on your room key. I don't know whether calling ahead to add them to your ressie will do any good since they don't actually prepare your room key until you arrive, but it's certainly worth a call to see what they will and won't do.

I buy mine ahead of time. Bought from Ticketmania this past December to
avoid ticket increases of '06 as well as a promo discount they were
offering on mousesavers. :woohoo:

I'm the opposite - I like my ticket to be separate from my room key. Also, since we have annual passes, we usually buy them at International Gateway Guest Relations booth or ticket booth or whatever it is.

You do not have to buy MYW tickets at the front desk to get them added to your room key. Just give the tickets to the CM and make the request.

Check out the Theme Parks and also the Budget Forums for ideas on where to buy discounted MYW tickets.

Best wishes -

Minimal is a vague term. We saved about the cost of a meal, $18 per ticket, 7 day preferred park hopper with expiration option, delivered right to the house, free postage and no tax. Not minimal to me, and I got little clear plastic card holders for everyone. The tickets stayed with the keys. This year I am getting 10 day park hopper with no expiration. Saving over $25 per ticket from ticketmania.

Well bought ours at the Disney store at home. I look at them and dream of Disney!

Remember the travel channel show that followed "Disney Experts" around the parks. One of the experts bought the tickets right at the gate. SO I guess that is the best place to buy your tickets.

(this show was before the "Your way tickets")

Back in Feb. I needed to pick up tix for my DW & DD...
registration desk sent me to the concierge desk where
they were more than helpful in our requests...these tix were
put on their room keys as a conveinence...I had already purchased
mine ahead of time...Good Luck!
