Where do you buy trading pins in advance?

My DD8 and DS11 have been talking about trading pins next month. I have heard that some people buy them in advance- I think it was on e-bay. Is there a specific person on e-bay that sells them that is trustworthy? Just looking for any advice to be better prepared.

Just go to eBay and search Disney trading pins or something like that. I don't know who specializes in them or how much you've been on eBay, but just take a look at the seller's feedback. If they have a high number and over 99% positive, you can consider them trustworthy!

I'm not so sure about that. We bought a lot of 42 pins from a Power Seller this summer with VERY high numbers and only 3 negative comments, but the pins were such poor quality when they came they seemed very suspect and we sent them back. Some people may give a seller positive feedback just because they are happy to have so many pins to trade at such a cheap price regardless of the quality.

I agree, and sometimes people will give positives just because they don't want retaliatory negatives.

I purchased some recently from a dis member who said she was getting rid of her collection.

There are several sites out there; I forget what they are now. I used to have them all bookmarked, but the last time I backed up and wiped my PC, I forgot to save my bookmarks. I lost over 50 Disney Links I love.
