where do you book your tickets?

So you have a hard ticket for MNSSHP? You can't link them to your MDE account? Sorry for hijacking!

"Hard ticket" just means that it's a separate ticket and is not included in your regular park admission.

So if u have a reg park ticket and a mnsshp ticket all for one day can I make 6 FP+ that day....3 on each ticket?

No, unless you set up a separate MDE account for the party ticket.

I thought that was probably the case, but I was just wondering why he made the distinction between park tickets and party tickets.
They're generally called 'hard ticket events' which describes anything that isn't included in your park ticket and require a separate ticket for. Generally it's all in MDE now, but 'hard ticket' name Sri.l is used.

Yes, I am familiar. I was just clarifying what the poster meant, and trying to determine why he was differentiating between party tickets and park tickets when it came to how he purchased them.

This just sounded so far off that I checked it. When did you buy your UT ticket? Before the last price increase? If so, then you really should use Disney's actual price before the increase also. Did you have more discounts you didn't mention? In today's prices, a UT 5 day adult ticket with the mousesavers discount is $347.59. On the Disney site, it is $340 + 22.10 in tax, so $362.10. (NOT $380.80) So by a fair comparison you are only saving $14.51 + 2.50. Which is not bad, but not 60!

I purchased my 5 day park tickets on 2/28/2016 the same day I went through Ebates. I received three email notices that Disney was increasing their park tickets. Those emails were from: mousesavers, disney tourist blog and kennythepirate. I jumped on the tickets at UCoverTourist. They had the lowest prices by far.
On 3/17/2016 I went back to purchase more tickets but the 2015/$321.95 were all sold out so I went to Orlando Attractions. Their price for adult 5 day passes were $338.95 and I was NOT able to use a cash back portal like Ebates or Shopathome, but did use a cc with cashback.

I purchased my 5 day park tickets through UCTourist. I purchased my hard tickets (MNSSHP) through Disney using my Disney Gift Cards. The gift cards were purchased via Kroger 4x fuel points.

I understand your confusion here, but Disney had in fact raised their prices when I purchased mine on 2/28/2016, that's what made it an amazing deal.

I'm certainly not trying to pull the wool over anyone here. The original comment I was responding to was "where do you buy your tickets" My response was to help people save more money by looking at other options.

Most likely Disney will be increasing their prices in 2017, for those who can afford to purchase them at UCTourist should also keep watching Ebates to save even more. I won't have to purchase park tickets for the nest three years.

And you are right about the tax. Disney charges 6% tax on tickets and 12% on hotels.

well I've checked tickets at work, parksavers and undercover tourist. the deals have changed within this last week - I had written down all my figures - so had to go back to square one comparing them all. And parksaver is the winner.

There's nothing wrong with authorized discounters like Undercover Tourist, Parksavers or Maple Leaf Tickets.

Never said anything wrong with booking discount tickets. I've just known some people who have tried to find the cheapest tickets online without doing proper research. That's why this forum is such a great place to find out who to trust and what works :)

The ITT (Information, Tours and Tickets) on our local Air Force base. They've got the best price that i've found.

Remember Park Saver & Disney does NOT show park tickets with tax, you'll see it during the final check out process.

UCTourist and Orlando Attractions does, meaning what you see is what you pay.
