Ok...We are going with friends who are bound to "wing it" they think PS is crazy, will eat CS all week. I kind of agreed, but now at the last minute am changing my mind. I don't want to spend a fortune on food, and we will have our Ds(6) and DD(2) so........any chance of me getting PS anywhere good? I just read some great reviews on Ohanas.........what do you all think??

Melissa

Ps...am talking about dinners...:D :Pinkbounc

We loved 50's prime time...not for the food but the 'kitsch'....it's just so cute and fun.

and when I saw that Cinderella is at 1900 Park Fare for dinner now, I decided this would be the place for us. My 2 yr old DD LOVES Cinderella....BUT I figured we would be out of luck since we are only 2 weeks out. BUT They had a ressie for 8:20 on the 14th. It is late for us to eat, but that is one of our "off" days. We planned on using it as a mid-week break day. I figure we cann swim at our resort, nap late and head there. Does anyone know if we can just park at the resort there(we are staying off-site)?

Anyone eat here recently?

thanks,
Melissa

melissamomof2,

i believe if you tell the guard at the gate that you have PS--he will look up your name and give you a visitor parking pass--however maybe someone else can verify that for you

Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary is also a very fun place to eat.

We discovered it on accident one night and we have been back every trip since!

Is the PS is too late call again when you get there and call again on the day of your PS. You may be able to move it up to more acceptable time for your party. People's plans change all the time.

We have PS'd at Crystal Palace, Donald's Breakfastasaurus, & Sci Fi. I definitely recommend it.

This next trip, we will return to Crystal Palace (last time was lunch, we're doing breakfast this trip) and are trying out Boma & 'Ohana. We PS'd all 3.

I think more often than not, it is worthwhile to PS when you can. It didn't really help too well at Sci Fi, we still had quite a wait, but I'd still rather have one than not.

One note, we kept the # for WDW-DINE handy and made the PS for Sci Fi that same day (we canceled at Rainforest since we switched parks at the last minute). So even you don't have one and you decide you want one, try calling at least an hour or so and see what they can give you.

Chef Mickey's and O'hana's for dinner are always a must for us.I think the kids would especailly enjoy Chef Mickey's.I know my DS(4) does and so does my DH-all you can eat shrimp!

We definately enjoyed Ohana's when we went there last year. The kids loved the open grill and the special games for kids. They even got little "umbrellas" in their drinks. It was a good meal and well worth the time and money.

Chef Mickey and 1900 Park Fare are also good. Chef Mickey is a bit more interactive for the family, but they are both fun.

IF you don't get PS - call when you get there- we had to arrange dinner plans due to illness one trip and were able to do so as people frequently cancel.
