where do most of you get your fuel

We are now using diesel, with a much larger TT. Do most of you go to truck stops and get fuel? We will going down 95S but not to FW *sniff sniff*. When we went North last summer it was hard finding easy in easy out gas stations. Just wondering what most of you do going down 95?

We always look for Flying J's, They are very very RV friendly. They have lanes just for RV's with Propane and dump stations.... We also use regular truck stops. Flying J's are first choice though.

We always look for truck stops. DH used to be a truck driver and we are very comfortable with them. We usually stop and spend the night in one on the way down. If you don't feel like cooking breakfast, they have a great buffet that will hold you for most of the day!

We try to find the Flying J's. They have a Rewards Card that gives us $.01 a gallon. With that, we use a Shell card that gives us more of a discount, depending on how much we put on it. Here is their web site if you need it: http://www.flyingj.com/

its a shame how many regular gas stations are not rv friendly, hard to get in and out of especially when busy, i look for Flying j also...

this last time we were at FW, we used the Hess Station by Magic Kingdom, they were 3 cents a gallon cheaper than anyone else in the area.... so if you get down low, was not little difficult to get to, because there was no turn lanes to that area had to go past it wait for a turn lane and then make a u-turn...

Flying J -all the way! We filled both tanks there- gas and propane.

On our last trip to WDW we bought a book called The Next Exit. It was very helpful. It lists interstates in every state and you can look up what is available at every exit along the interstate. It color codes the rv friendly gas stations, restaurants, etc. so you know before you go if it will accomodate your rv. Also, it lists the stations with diesel and rest areas.

We have the whole trip to WDW plotted with every Flying J on the route.
I have a crew cab Diesel truck and a 27ft TT and found most other places are difficult to navigate when not crowded, add a few pushy anxious people and it gets really ugly. We only filled at one other place on the last trip and that was only because we had stopped for breakfast.
I have no problem using the big truck pumps if the RV section is too crowded, the Flying J on I-75 just North of the FL line always has a long line at the RV pumps, I just pull over to the other pumps. Fortunately my truck has the large fill pipe and I can use the big nozzles. Its surprising that they put the big fill pipe on a truck with such a small (26 gal) fuel tank ?
If I ever get the $$$ I am going to put a larger tank in, only problem is that every time I get a little money put away everyone wants to go to WDW

We use the big truck pumps, too. Easier to navigate -- we are not very experienced towers Sometimes it seems the truckers give you strange looks -- like we shouldn't be there. Ever encounter that?

On our long trips we find refueling a bit stressful. You never know if you'll have to get into a tight spot or turn around in a difficult area. We have had a couple of bad experiences getting off on unknown exits to refuel. Now that we bought that book it has helped a lot.

We shouldn't have to worry so much anymore, though. Dh just bought a huge tank for the bed of his truck. He installed it himself just a couple of weeks ago. We have already gone on one trip and went there and back and no refueling! It was so great!

Iradi8.... Last time I checked my money was green just like theirs. Of course I try to be respectful of the fact that its how they make their living. Just like any other segment of society there are good and bad, I am learning more and more to ignore the rude people.
Congrats on the bigger tank, I considered an in the bed tank but I have a cap on mine and dont want to drag the hose around and climb in the back every time.
I dont have too much trouble with the trailer, I drive a big red truck at work that weighs 40,000 lbs so I have some experience.
