Where do MK parades begin?

Do "Share a Dream" and "Spectromagic" parades start in the same place? I'm trying to use some of the tips that have been posted, but in order to use some of them, I need to know exactly where to stand for the parade.

Gosh, they went over this in the Keys to the Kingdom tour but my memory is a little vague on the specifics. I do remember the cm saying that the parade during the day goes in one direction but the one in the evening goes opposite. I'm pretty sure the evening parade starts in the front of the park--the idea being that if it ended in the front on Main St. it would create a mass exodus of people bottlenecking the exit. But if they have the parade START at the front and end further into the park, it will help to spread out the masses of people a little more evenly and it will give the parade-viewers a little more time to walk to the front. There was a reason for why the opposite direction is better for the daytime parade, but I can't remember what it is.

When we were there in Sept, the afternoon parade started in Frontierland & Spectro started at Main Street

Above posters are correct. Day parade begins in Frontierland and ends on Main Street. Spectro works in the opposite direction beginning on Main Street and ending in Frontierland.

Just wanted to add that if they are running 2 Spectro, they BOTH start on Main Street and end in Frontierland. I have seen lots of posts on here saying that when they have 2 one starts at MS and then it reverses and the other starts at Frontierland... that is not the case. ALL night parades start on Main Street and end in Frontierland

How are the parades for MNSSHP & MVMCP currently running? I've seen them switch direction. The first parade Frontierland to Main Street and the second Main Street to Frontierland. Last year we saw the second parade at MNSSHP and it started on Main Street. We saw the first parade at MVMCP and it started in Frontierland.

We went to MNSSHP twice last week. Both parades both nights started at the front of the park and went to Frontierland.

Debbie, the only time they start them in Frontierland is if they are filming them and they want the castle behind them for the shots. both MNSSHP and MVMCP run Main Street to Frontierland otherwise.
