Where do I stay?

I have already stayed at Contemporary and all 4 moderates. I want to try soemthing new.

I will have Me, DH, DS4, DD2, and ? 5 weeks. Going the first week of December and we will have a car.

So what are your ideas and why? GF is just out of budget for us! So I cant stay there.

How bout the Poly? We'd like to try it one day, but it's not in the budget yet. We're staying at POFQ again next trip.

Definately try the Wilderness Lodge!! It is just beautiful!

I say stay at either WL or AKL, both are wonderful. WL will book up quickly but is convenient to MK as you have young children. If you don't mind a bit of a drive or bus trip, then AKL, nice pool area (not as many people as you will find at WL) and not to mention you can watch the animals. Both are very nice and have their own unique things about them. You may also want to think about renting DVC points and doing a Boardwalk Studio stay or BC studio room. You can get a studio room where kids can sleep in double sofa bed and have the refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker in room and be right in the middle of Epcot and MGM. As your going in the offseason, Sun - Thursday stays can be as little as $90 to $120 per night.

With a new baby that young I would also check into either a One Bed-room or Studio at any of the DVC resorts (The Villas @ Wilderness Lodge are a MK Resort) if you don't want to rent points...reservations can also be made though Disney but at a higher cost.

I would love to stay at the Poly..but I think it is out of our budget too. Maybe for my 30th!

I was wondering for those of you who have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. Do they have a Microwave at their food court? I know the Contempo did, and i called Wilderness Lodge and they said they didnt have a food court!LOL! Then I called Poly and I swear I got the same person.

So, does anyone know if there is a Microwave avaiable?

I think I saw a mircowave in the food counter service place at WL. WL & Poly do not have any thing that compares to the Moderates as far as a "Food Court" Just small counter service areas.

WL is smaller and has the great location. We loved our stay there and would love to go back.

AKL has so much to do ! Pool has zero entry which is great for little ones. Lifeguards do pool games. Animal watching is incredible. Activities all day long for the kids. Food Court has a nice selection and yes, it had a microwave. If you do the bus system, it works great, no sharing with other resorts. But we have also driven to parks from there. Minutes in the car to MK and by bus it was about 15 minutes. It is equally as beautiful as the WL.

Can't go wrong with either one !
