Since finding out, 3 days ago, that we were making our first ever family rip to Disney, my head has been SWIMMING! I know that I should be making ADR's but where do I go where I can see what chocies we have?

Please tell me that I am not the only one at least a teeny bit overwhelmed with all there is to remember...

On top of that, I am so excited about this trip that I may not sleep for the next 61 nights!!! LOL!!

This is a good place to start.

Just figure on making whatever table service reservations you definitely want as soon as possible.
Make your list of what sounds good and then see what is available. Remember lunches are cheaper if you want a nicer meal.
I would try to get in at least one character meal.
I recommend breakfast at 1900 Park Faire, or Ohana's Friendship breakfast. Tusker House has a great breakfast as well- at Animal Kingdom.
Don't worry about your child at the nicer restaurants- they are used to children in all of the restaurants! My DDs have eaten at Le Cellier, Chefs Du France, and the Brown Derby with no problems.
Hoop-Dee-Doo review is a GREAT dinner show with wonderful food!

Just make ressies for whatever sounds good to you! It's all so much fun. You can always try for seating once you are down there. Sometimes you can get right in. But... that time of year is busy, so if there is something you really want, make the reservation NOW!
Good luck!

Hi! OK, relax..it will be ok. Based on your ticker, you must be going the first week of April right? We are at 59 days, so that is how I know..:) You can check on allearsnet.com for the complete list of all the restaurants in all of the parks and resorts with the menus. See what appeals to you. They have both lunch and dinner and breakfast menus. What you chose depends upon your family and your eating habits. We usually eat at one table service each day, at lunch or dinner and a counter service the other. We do breakfast in our room, or the food court at our resort. I usually decide which park I am going to on which day before I make my ADRs. I use touringplans.com. Right now the crowd calendar only has up the preferred parks/parks to avoid through March 6 so for that to really help you, you would need to either subscribe, or you can buy the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disneyworld and fill in the words that the website asks you for to get the rest of the calendar or you can get the 2009 book from your local library. This crowd calendar gives you the preferred day/park to avoid based on info the author has. We have always followed this and felt that it is pretty reliable. Once I know what park I am going to on what day, I plug in the restaurants, like the Plaza at Magic Kingdom or Le Cellier at Epcot for a late lunch or on an Animal Kingdom day when we will finish early because the park closes early we get cleaned up and go to California Grill. We also look at the Extra Magic Hours and sometimes take advantage of those, especially since this will be a busy week. I would suggest trying to figure things out soon. The 90 day window for our trip opened early January, but that being said..I have called a couple of times to change a couple of my adrs and have not had any trouble getting the times that I wanted. Good luck, let us know if we can help!!:)

My calendar has "ADRS!!!" written on it for this afternoon/evening. Hopefully, I will have a better clue when I actaully get to sit down and look through everything.

Thanks so much for your time!!

Scheduling dining can make you crazy!

The following is the link to Allears.net, which is a very helpful site. Scroll down a bit and look on the left hand side for "Restaurants at a Glance" -- it breaks out the restaurants by location.

Happy planning!

Don't forget to take a look at the restaurant board. You will get a lot of recommendations over there for good (and bad) restaurants, plus pics of the food. Once you know which parks you will be in on which days, it will be easier. Go with what your family normally likes to eat, seafood, italian, whatever. Plus there's lots of character buffets, always fun and everyone gets to choose the food they want. :thumbsup2
