I am searching info about buying passes to the parks and I am totally confused and overwhelmed!!:confused3
We of course waited until the last possible second to do this...I want just a regular 7 day hopper pass - do they still call them Hopper Passes?
Where is the best place to buy them ahead of time and is it too late to try to get them before we leave next week (Sunday)? Will I save $ buying ahead of time or should I just get them at the front desk when we check in.

I tried to find just a listing of prices on the official Disney website and I am totally lost!!
Can anyone help??? Sorry I am clueless!!!

Park Tickets are confusing. Yes, they do still sell hopper passes, only they are called Magic Your Way (MYW) Tickets. They have so many options it is utterly confusing. To help with the confusion try going to the Theme Park Strategies Thread. That should help you out.

I bought my tickets from undercovertourist.com this year and ticketmania.com last year. You can buy them from the Disney Store or even Disney directly.

Another good source for help is mousesavers.com.

Do you belong to AAA ? Our AAA has some great prices on WDW tickets and you can pick them up at the office.
You can order them on line through WDW and have them hold the tickets at "will call". Some of the ticket brokers, like ticketmania, have the option to deliver the tickets to your hotel, the charge is $6,

The ticketing system is called Magic Your Way. This allows you to buy base tickets for any number of days (1-10) and then add on extras (such as park hopping) if you so choose. The park hopper addition is $40 whether it is to a one day ticket or ten day ticket, so you will pay base cost for a 7 day ticket (listed as $204 pre tax by the 2007 Unofficial Guide) plus $40 to get hopping options for your whole trip so each ticket would cost $244 pre tax. By purchasing directly from Disney you get an $8 advanced purchase savings (again according to the UG) per ticket. You can have the tickets held at will call for you so you can pay now with the discount and pick them up at the parks. If you are staying at an onsite resort they can add the tickets to your room key.

Others on the DIS have recommended buying tickets through mapleleaftickets.com or undercovertourist.com for savings, or purchasing them through AAA. You can also check out mousesavers.com for potential money saving offers. I bought my tickets through Disney as part of a package and so cannot comment on any of these, they are just what I have heard recommended the most often. Good Luck, and feel free to PM me if you have any questions about this.:goodvibes

When we went in November we bought our tickets through Mapleleaf.com They mailed them to my house in a couple of weeks. If I'm not mistaken I think they were a little cheaper then going through Disney.

Be sure to check out the prices at the ticketmania website, too. They will even have the tickets delivered to your resort for you to pick up when you check in. Hope this helps!

Undercovertourist and Ticket Mania are probably your best bets for the best prices. I've found that AAA is higher than these two. They will be cheaper than buying direct with Disney.
