Where do I change my shoes??

I keep seeing notes/suggestions about people changing shoes/socks for water rides. Where does everyone do this? I’m assuming the locker area is too crowded. The line for the rides would probably be hard too. I just don’t want my entire family to be in the way or look crazy changing shoes . Any advice would be appreciated

Some people just put plastic bags secured with elastic bands over their shoes. That may be quicker.

I don't think anyone would give you a second look if you sat on bench and changed your shoes before heading over to the water ride.
