Where do I Buy An Annual Pass

Hi all,

Just wondering where to get an annual pass for disneyland. Do they ever have any deals? Is it best to buy them online? Also we aren't going until the beginning of October, do I need to wait to buy them?

you can order them online yes but you can also get them at the disney store or in the park....If you are going in Oct. and you buy them online I probably would refrain from getting them until Oct because then your wasting several months if they come activated which Im not sure of but if they have to be activated and or if you buy them at the disney store(which they do have to be activated) then get them whenever

Is there an advantage to renewing the passes when they expire, or if we wouldn't be going for another 6 months or so is it just better to let them expire and then buy new ones?

If we aren't planning to return to the parks right away, we let our passes expire and then plan to go on a blockout day to renew them. This way we feel we are getting a "free" day!

If you are staying at a Disney hotel you can have the passes added to your stay. I had booked our trip for this weekend on my annual pass but realized yesterday that I wouldn't have a chance to renew it before checking into the hotel. When I called the hotel to see what I should do the girl explained that I can just add the passes to the room reservation and that you get them at the same price as online, in terms of park hopper tickets, and the tickets or passes would be waiting for us when we checked in. If we didn't need them anymore we could just cancel there at check-in. I added my premier pass and my daughters deluxe pass to our room reservation.
