Where do buses drop you off at MK?

I'm staying at Pop Century and I know the buses drop you off at MK, but does that mean they drop you off at the entrance of MK or do I still need to take a monorail/ferry to get to the entrance?

I'm hoping to avoid the monorail because I have two kids under 3 and last time I was there, the monorail line was over 2 and a half hours long.

Thanks for your help!

At a long station between the Magic Kingdom entrance concourse and the Contemporary Resort. (There is also a walkway connecting those two locations.) I would say the walk from your bus to the park turnstiles, excluding waiting for backpack and purse security check, would be 5 to 8 minutes depending on where your bus stopped.

From the monorail station to the MK turnstiles is about a 5 minute walk and you come from the other direction as opposed to from the bus station. (The walkway does not continue past the monorail station around to the Grand Floridian Resort)

I always laugh at "right at the gate". It's only a short walk but when I hear that phrase I always worry people will think that the bus lets you off right across from the gate itself. I'd say 5 minute walk is pretty close on the buses and 3-5 on the monorail and boats.

At least as an adult. Kids of various sizes may affect your actual walk time, then there's bag check, and whether or not you get in a line with people who can master the MB entry.....etc.

Have to agree!!! None of the park buses drop you 'right at the gate'!!! The buses at MK enter the MK area, past the CR. There is a very large bus stop area...it's huge!!!! If you end up getting dropped at the furthest stop, it can be a hike to the park entrance. It takes about 5 mins. In all actuality, the ferry drops you closer to the park entrance, as does the monorail. But...both those options entail parking the car, and waiting for the ferry or monorail to get there, board, and then get you to MK.
