Probably the last time I went camping. It was 40C in the shade and we were tripping over brown snakes, one tried to get into the boat which resulted in death by fishing rod.
Nope, nope, nope

If you all would stop hiking upside down you might eliminate some of these issues.
It's the only way I know how to do it.
Causes some confusion when abroad.
The headaches when visiting America must be rather troublesome.
Possibly not half as bad as the headaches I give America.

Don't have to be camping to have that, venture out the back door on a regular summers day here and make sure "look before you step".....oh and chuck in some tiger snakes to make it interesting.
On our first holiday in USA last year, we were talking to some Americans, they asked us "where are you from" we replied "Australia".also when they camp Dingo's eat there baby's![]()
We live in brown snake country, aggressive buggers. Have tigers and copperheads but rarely see them.
Never seen a cooperhead - don't really want to, but Tigers and Browns inhabit my back yard every summer, last summer a 5 foot Tiger snake was trying to get in my back door to eat my cat, who was toying with it through the glass.....lol
Pets and snakes don't mix well that's for sure...lost count of the times I've made a flying trip to the vet for observation and/or treatment.
