Hi, all. Wondering if anyone vacationed with the Mouse this past Christmas (or any Christmas) and could tell me where they spent Christmas Eve/Day, if they dined at a certain restaurant, etc. Just want to make our Christmas extra special at Disney. We'll be staying at CSR and arriving on Dec. 23. Our family includes me, my DH and DSs, 15 and 13. Thanks! :wave2:

We recently returned from a 12/23 - 1/1 Christmas trip! There were 7 of us - me, dh, dd, ds, parents and brother. My immediate family celebrated Christmas Eve at EPCOT. We had a CP dinner package for Restaurant Marrekash and saw the 8:15(?) CP. Incredibly moving. We normally would attend Mass on Christmas Eve so this kind of acted as our Disney substiture.

We started off Christmas Day at MK but it was raining SO HARD and VERY CHILLY that we went back to the hotel early to clean up for dinner. My grandparents live in Kissimmee so we celebrated Christmas with them by dining at Palio's at the Swan. It was wonderful! Just "upscale" enough to know it was a special day and yet the waiter was wonderful with my kids. They even "modified" menu items for them! There were 9 of us for dinner that night and the CMs were so accomodating! And the Swan is beautiful. That was my fist time to visit that hotel.

Best of luck in all your decisions and I hope you have a wonderful time!

Thanks for your input! We plan on attending Mass at Mary QUeen of the Universe Shrine either Christmas Eve or early on Christmas Day. But I know we will surely enjoy the Candlelight Processional and look forward to celebrating with the "masses" at the parks. Thanks, too, for the restaurant idea. Never thought of going to the Swan.
Happy Holidays, a few months early!!!

We spent Christmas 2003 in WDW. Christmas Eve we did the CP package, eating an early dinner at Le Cellier, before the 2nd show.
Christmas morning we had breakfast in the Catsle which was very magical. Knowing we would eat until we were stuffed at Cindys, we didnt plan on any other meals for that day. We had planned to resort hop so we figured we would pick something up at a counter service spot, which is what we did. Probably around 3:30 we had a late lunch/early dinner at CBR food court. ;)
