Where did you buy your Ready Bed??

I can't find them anywhere but Ebay. I haven't actually seen one in person. I did see them on Amazon but they were really expensive! $79.99 for a Dora bed? I don't think so! The website looks like its from the UK and shows Toys R Us as a retailer but I haven't been able to find one.

Have you tried walmart? I just looked at their website and they had a Dora one for around 28.00. They also had Disney Princess. And don't forget, Walmart usually offers free shipping to your local store on most items.

We bought ours (Nemo) at Target a few years ago. HERE is a link to the Dora one ($29) and there are other characters linked at the bottom.

Ours is the kind that folds to become a chair. Personally I don't think it was worth the money we spend on it...it takes too long to inflate IMO (using a power inflator) and the fabric the "sleeping bag" is made out of is not very nice. I don't know if they are all the same or not though - ours is made by Play Hut.

we love our readybeds for our 5 and 2 year olds. They love them. They fold up so compactly. They wash/launder nicely. And we've given them some pretty hard use (at least 30-40 nights on each) and they are still going srong. I like that they are a bit smaller then a twin mattress so they fit just about anyplace. I like that they come in their own back pack type case. We use a electric rechargable pump and they take under 3 minutes to inflate?

I bought one at TJMaxx ($16) and one at target ($23). I saw them yesterday at Walmart for $28

I'm guessing my 5 year old will get another couple of years out of his at least.

When we fly, I purchased a very small (think childs size) rolling suitcase to store them both in along with pump and charger. Works perfectly.

We bought our son a Lightning McQueen one from Target in November for about 28.99!

We have the HSM one for DD. She was given it as an Xmas gift and we had planned to save it for camping this summer. But we found an additional use for it. Last week my entire family got the flu. We don't have a bathroom upstairs (where our bedrooms are) so it was really hard to try to run, when necessary, DD up and down the stairs. We let her sleep on the ready bed in the living room (I got couch duty ;) ) and it was a life-saver!

I had no idea what a Ready Bed was until I read this thread. The reviews on them seem to be really mixed though. Has anyone had a problem with their Ready Bed?

No problems with ours. It does take a little while to fill it up but that's okay with us. I like that they wash so easy.

I saw them at Wal-Mart today, they are in the camping section with the blow up air mattresses. (I had to buy a new inflater AGAIN so this time I got one that plugs into the wall, no more batteries yeah!)

I laughed out loud when I read the two reviews associated with the link to readybed at Walmart above! Blow it up by mouth???? or even hand pump? child rolled off or if zipped whole bed rolled over?? how old was this child???? how big??

this is a small (think width of a crib mattress but as long as a twin) bed not intended for larger children for goodness sakes! BTW,FYI a standard double mattress width is equal to 2 crib mattresses side by side! amazing isn't it?

I never even considered blowing the thing up with the included foot pump. Those things don't even work well on pool inflatables for heavens sake.

Get a decent electric rechargable pump and it is a snap. couple minutes tops. Ours have been inflated in hotel rooms for the better part of a week and never even loose air.

I have tossers as well and the most that has ever happened is my DS4 at the time has had his head slide off side a bit? Come on folks, the thing is on the floor, where are they gonna go??

not trying to be snide, I'm still just chuckling!

We actually took this on our WDW trips when we were in the moderates for our DD. She was between the ages of 3 and 5. The bed fit perfectly between the 2 beds in the room and then we would just store it against the wall and one of the beds during the day. Transporting it was very easy as we put it in a duffle with our shoes. It only took about 5 minutes to blow up with the foot pump and stayed inflated the whole week.
