You must have forgotten...he is a VIP! He can do anything and not get in trouble ha ha

That was a cool Test Track story....not everyone can say they have had that happen. Looking forward to more...I still have plenty of Kettle cornpopcorn::
Test Track...I'm just glad it didn't rain or wasn't typical Florida weather.

Maybe that VIP TT pass was to let you see the underside of TT. LOL:rotfl:

Great updates.. I DJ Siemens company picnic every year in CT. Maybe I need to get a few Disney perks next year.:confused3
I considered it a bonus to the ride...getting to walk on the Test Track itself...seeing the backside of an Epcot attraction...we thought it was cool.

Good luck with getting anything out of Siemens other than your Fee. :lmao:

We were laughing the whole time...we broke Test Track...we are now the most hated people in Epcot!!!:rotfl2:

All hail Nate!!! :worship:

:lmao: nate, they didnt march you guys in front of everyone? if they did, you would have to get in the wittness protection program. "this guy broke the ride, you 700 people just have to wait. oh, and he didnt wait in line either" :lmao:

When my daughter was 7 weeks old, we were seeing Buzz Lightyear when he was over in Tomorrowland. His handler was fell in love with her and asked if we'd been over to see the princesses yet. We told her we hadn't. She pulled out a "no strings attached pass", filled out some information and told us to give it to any CM in Toontown. We did, and the CM took us right up trough the middle of the line, bypassing a 90+ minute wait. Boy, did we get some looks that day!

That would have been rough!

I'll bet!
what are you people looking at? :rolleyes1

Well looking at my Pictures I don't have anymore for Day 3...so I'll try to wrap this day up.

We had just broken Test Track and became secretly the most hated people in Epcot...and we head out to see what ride we can break next.

I'm the only one in the family to ever ride Mission Space...and I don't care too much for it. so we bypass that...and we see that Ellen's Energy Adventure is about to start in the Universe of Energy. I'm not a huge Ellen fan...but she can be pretty funny at times...the nerd in me loves Bill Nye the Science Guy...and mixing it all up with a game of Jeopardy...well it's not all that bad.

The Announcer Lady begs us to please remain seated during the entire show...because they had to evacuate the last ride because someone stood up...Guess I know who was the second most hated person in Epcot was. So we go get our seat...we get the Front Row...Front Car on the Far Right. The Show starts again... and Bill Nye takes Ellen back to the Big Bang...

OK...so some people have issue with the big bang...and i guess I do to considering how it is presented in this show and in most classrooms. Scientist often forget to follow their own rules...like the First law of Thermodynamic...which states no energy can be created or destroyed...or Laws of Cause and Effect which states that each Action has an equal and opposite reaction...which science seems to not explain what caused the Big Bang...and if the Universe is the Reaction to the Big Bang...what was the "Cause" or Action that made this reaction...seems to beg for a Supernatural interaction if you ask me...it's all explained in the first chapterof a little book called Genesis if you ever want any more details. :thumbsup2

Anyway Ellen learns all about Energy and whips her High School Nemisis in Jeopardy...and we get to see a bunch of Dinos. 40 Minutes. I'm actually more interested in how they move thouse massive cars around without tracks but some kind of positional guidance system...now that is what is totally cool about this ride. :cool2: (Yes I'm a Nerd)

We get out and go check Test Track...Boy we broke it good!!! :woohoo:

Then we go acroos the Park to check out the Living Sea...I ment to get a picture of the seagulls going "Mine,Mine, Mine"...I love those guys.

Anyway...very short line to board our Clam-mobile...and there's Ellen again...this time she's a little Blue Fish...but we know it's her. I really like this place...especially when you walk out into the Tank Observation area...just being surrounded by all that water and sea creature...pretty amazing...no one wanted to wait for Turtle Talk so we leave and head for the Land to grab a bite to eat.

I really don't remember what everyone else got at the Seasons...but I got the Grilled Salmon...my favorite Fish...pretty safe too as no one else in the family will touch it. This was great too. I think our Meall total was something close to $80...4 Meal credits on the QSDP. Have I mentioned I love the DP. :lovestruc

After we eat...we go get on the Living with the Land Boat Ride...I remember when Epcot first opened that this used to have a Tour Guide...now it's all pre-recorded. Hidden Mickeys...I'm quite certain the ones I saw move around...but there are some tanks with Shrimp in them...I saw 3 wire baskets arranged like a Classic Mickey...I also saw a Hanging Pumpkin with a plastic Mickey around it.

From there we are done knowing Soarin' is a lost cause...and go next door to see this guy...:figment:

Mel and Tiny Love Figment...Mel used to call him Fidget when she was a little girl...so that's what we all call him. Fidget is cute...and tollerable in small doses...pretty much the "it's a small world" of Epcot...more on this in day 5.

We've basically accomplished everything we wanted to in Epcot except Soarin'...so we head over to Test Track...I don't remember the time...but it's around 6pm now...Test Track is Open. :yay:

We go use our VIP pass again...and promise not to break the ride again....this time we get some single riders in the car with us...Look real close for a very large hidden Mickey...
pp9.jpg

And we ride again...and again...then Mel decides she's had enough...but me and the boys ride about 2 more times...here's one of the Pics...
pp10.jpg

I think the guy in Blue was plastered...Did y'all see the hidden Mickey yet???

Anyway...after wearing out the VIP treatment on Test Track...it time to go find a spot to watch Illuminations...darn you'd thin Siemens would have a Boat or something for us to watch this from...but i guess our VIP treatment is about over...This show starts and Finishes well, but if you ask me they waste too much time on the spining globe with all the pictures on it. You know it's pretty amazing how much heat you can feel off of those flame burst. Siemens Name lasered on Spaceship Earth after the Show...big Siemens LED display in the Lagoon...yeah us!!! :cool1:

Well we are now in Extra Magic Hours...The boys want one more go at Test Track...and the guy at the Counter gives us one last set...as he says they are not supposed to give them out Once EMH's starts...but he says since it just started we would be allright Test Track I pretty cool in the Dark.

Then we head over to see what Soarin' looks like...the line is only about an Hour now...but we are dog tired and give up after about 10 minutes.

We ask if anybody wants to do anything else...and Boy kinda acts like there's something...I finally pry it out of him...He wanted to go to Japan and buy an Oyster for a pearl. I tell him if he REALLY want s to I'll walk with him across the World...Mel says she'll meet us outside of Mousegears again...:sad2:

Anyway Boy and I walk over to Japan via Canada,England, across the English Channel to France...Marraco...Japan is pretty crowded...who'd a thunk it? Boy pays for his Oyster and waits for his number to be called...I point one out that has some neat looking stripes on it...Boy picks that one.

The lady opens it up and shows him his Pearl ...but wait she says...There are 2 Pearls in his Oyster...TWINS!!!! So very cool for Boy!!! :goodvibes

The look on his face made the feeling in my very tired feet worth the walk over and back.

We get back and tell Mel and Tiny the great news...and we are off the to the Monorail...After a nice Ride back to the Monorail Station...(grrrr from boy)...we get back to Bessy right about 11:45pm...Back to the CSR around Midnight...everyone showered and in bed by 1. :cloud9:

Next Episode...
My solo walk around the CSR!...this one's for you Katmark!!!:thumbsup2

Inside one of The Seas observation tanks was the first place that my husband ever saw a Hidden Mickey. It's some rocks arranged at the bottom of the large aquarium. It inspired me to get the book for our upcoming trip.

Love the hidden Mickey on Test Track. I've never noticed it before. :thumbsup2

I think Steve Barrett has just finished the 4th Edition of the Hidden Mickey Guide...not sure if it has hit the shelves yet...but I think you can order it from his website.

That's what Mel teased him about...I call those sections in Belks and JC Penney's the Armory.

Sounds like you had a day full of Epcot fun. I love the pictures with Mickey and Pluto. Too bad you broke Test Track, but at least you got to ride it several times. What a great reward for walking that LONG way after a long day at Epcot, twin pearls! I guess that would make the walk worth it.

Way to go...breaking Test Track...:lmao::lmao:

That's why it needs to be Test Track, sponsored by FOMOCO...(Ford)..

Replace the Government Motors Buicks with good Ole Shelby Mustangs..

Woooo hoooo, what a ride:banana::banana::banana:

Tiny was glad it was Pluto and Mickey...but I say he would have been Glad to see anybody...those pearls were great...I was so happy for Boy... :goodvibes he's one of those guys...if something bad is going to happen...it happens to him.

I agree with the Ford sentiment...

I hear a potential new sponsor is in the works...I'm certain they would have to shut the ride down for a while and do a refurb...and do some PILOT runs...it's my CIVIC duty not to tell you who that may be...mind you that its all rumor anyway...just some info...ACCORDing to my source. :rolleyes1

That refurb work sounds like it'll be a real Odyssey.
