Where Did The Tme Go?

I can't believe I've been at this job 23 years today. In thinking back, I've watched the financial scene take on so many changes. We've had out fat times, at one point I had a staff of 45 and our lean times, like now with my staff of 15. So many people have come and gone in my business life it's hard to remember them all. I'm glad I'm here. I enjoy my work and the people I work with, besides where else could I go where they would pay me to sit here all day and DIS? Now if they'd just turn the air-conditioning down!

In today's fast moving workplace, it is great to see someone who displays the permanence and loyalty that you do. And with so many folks dissatisfied with their job (at least, that's what the polls say), it's nice to hear someone who enjoys their job. I do as well.

Congratulations, I could never imagine having the same job that long. Dh just celebrated his 22nd year with the phone company, but he hates his job. I tend to get bored very easily, so when I started working (when the girls got in high school) I went from job to job. I have now had the same job for 5 years and it seems amazing to me that I'm not ready to move on. I will use you as an example.
