Did Disney git rid of their tollfree phone number? The number I have has a message with 407 number... If anyone has a working 800/866/877 number for Disney reservations, would you please post or PM me? Thanks very much :thumbsup2

The 800#s are not suppose to be published so once they get too many calls on them they do away with them and start other ones. I think they are for travel agents but not sure??? :confused3

That stinks. You think Disney could afford a toll free number. Now I can't call from work b/c it's a long distance call (never mind that it's a personal call :lmao: )

Yea, they don't give that number out, and as lovedmouse said, they shut it down pretty quick once it does get out. Who knows what the number is now...lol

why should disney pay for your call? They do alright without paying, so that's why they don't use them. also, they get people that will call up and ask what the weather is like in mickeyland, they don't want to pay for that call either........

I was wondering why they didn't seem too happy when I called to ask that question?!?! :rotfl2:

it's all your fault.....

actually the 3 ressie centers are in Tampa, Orlando and Salt Lake city.

True enough! It'd be nice though, that way I could call from work with out being detected :magnify: my cell phone is a little to obvious :rotfl:

I use my cell phone so I don't pay for the long distance call. It still bugs me sometimes, though, at how long it takes to make a reservation! The person on the phone usually likes to chat, asks a million redundant questions, complains that they are having computer problems or that the computers are slow, etc.

It takes so much longer to make a Disney hotel reservation than making a hotel reservation anywhere else!

yeh and THAT is all after you've punched in all your numbers as to how many times you've visited disney world, how many times since 2002, how many times did you visit the restrooms in fantasyland in 2005, do you remember the length of the TP that you used? it's ridiculous the questions you have to answer on your DIME, or quarter or whatever it takes these days.

Ain't that the truth!
:lmao:

It used to bug me when the 800 numbers changed (yup, I used 'em, too), but then it dawned on me that I have nationwide calling on my home phone and never use up all the minutes on my cell. So why was I letting this annoy me when I wasn't paying extra for it anyways? :rotfl2:

I agree that it's cheap on Disney's part. Maybe you should get faster service if you don't use the 800 number! :goodvibes

My gripe/concern/issue/etc is that I can't call long distance from WORK b/c the work phone bill will show the number I called and lists Disney as the name. I work in a small office, I'm the only Disney freak so it wouldn't take much sleuthing to figure who placed the call...a lengthy one at that due questions they ask ;)

I can use my cell phone to call for free but like I said, it's obvious. If I could use a land line, then it "appears" I'm on a work related call. :rotfl:

Oh well, I used my cell on the way home last night while in traffic :car: That's better, right??? :scared1:

I now have a ressie for Halloween 2009 :cheer2:

Thanks for everyone's comments!!! Now, back to work :surfweb: not!

Time for a new job. Either that or make them understand the importance of making reservations at The Fort. Afterall, your mental health is extremely important as I'm sure you're overworked and under paid. Besides, a 15-minute phone call is cheaper than having an employee snap.

I'm glad you got your reservation. :yay:
