Where can you use Disney Rewards cards

I will have about $400 or more in Disney Rewards points from using my Disney Visa in April when I go on my trip back to Disney. Are these things accepted like credit cards at most Disney places? I was hoping to be able to use them to pay for meals at Donalds Breakfast at AK, breakfast at the Crystal Castle in MK, and dinner one night at Raglan Road at DTD?? Does anyone know if these places accept the cards or of any others?? I would like to get a couple of souveniers possibly or pins too. Do most gift places accept them? The only place I have ever used one was at the All Stars Resort gift shop in the past. Thanks for your help.

I have used ours almost everywhere without any trouble. It is great! Sometimes we have used the card for eating and sometimes we have used the reward dollars for shopping. I think the only place it is not accepted is a couple of food cart type places that accept only cash. Each time you use it, the receipt will let you know what your balance is. And if you have trouble with the card itself, you can go to Guest Services at DTD and they will be able to help you.

We do this, too- it paid for all of our meals and all of our souvenirs on this last trip- it was great! I LOVE that credit card!!

You can you it anywhere in the parks, World of Disney store, ...I agree that card is great.

We'll have a little over $400.00 on our rewards card this February. We use it to spoil our two boys with souveniers and such. Nothing like "free Disney money"

About the only place where we could not use it was at the Barber Shop at the MK. (They are independent contractors.)

Just got back last night from our stay at WDW and used my rewards card everywhere and didn't have a single problem.

I transferred my outstanding rewards balance to the card. Then I called MS and gave them the rewards card number and they applied the entire balance towards my dues. I paid the balance with a credit card.

This last trip I put the $ on my room account at check in and then just charged things to my room key. Very easy.

The rewards card is great but remember to check your expiration date. If you have transferred $$$ to the card and it expires at the end of 2007, you must use those dollars before the expiration date. You can apply for a card with an exp. date of 2008 (easy), but don't transfer the $$ to the card until you are sure you are going in 2008.

I'll be getting a card for our trip on January 19th. How long does it take for a card to arrive, should I order it end of Dec. or beginning of Jan in order to make sure I receive the 2008 card?

Love those reward points, using mine for my DDP and hopefully will have some pts left over for some pins.

I might be doing the same thing this time around. I recently applied to have my dues debited monthly instead of paying in a lump sum but I'm not sure if I made the cutoff for this year. If I did, then I'll apply my rewards to the room account instead of putting it towards my dues. I like the idea of using it up in one transaction rather than having to keep track of the balance on the card.
