Where can you purchase annual passes?

I was wondering if you can purchase Annual Passes at your Resort or can you only purchase at a park Guest Relations?

Also there is no limit on the amount of Disney gifts cards you can use to pay for it at Disney correct? I heard that there is a limit if planning to purchase them online.

Also what is the best way to combine gift cards if we decide to go that way?

Would it be best to charge the annual passes with our magicband then go to our resort later to pay off the balance with the gift cards so we don't have to waste time at a ticket window during the day?

AP can be purchased at any park Guest Relations or ticket window. Resorts cannot do anything with AP purchase or upgrade.

You can combine gift cards online. While you can show up with a stack to pay at the park, I'd advise you to combine them ahead of time.

Both on my last trip when I upgraded my AP and on the trip where I purchased the AP, I remember actually getting my credit card out to pay for it. I don't know why I would've done that had I been able to use my MB, though I don't know why you wouldn't be able to use your MB.

(It's possible the CM had the MB making sure it was all working correctly so I just pulled out the card since it was easier).

Disney recently started allowing transferring of gift card balances to a single card at https://www.disneygiftcard.com/ Besides making it a lot faster when you use them, if there is any refunds which by law have to be put back onto the same card you know exactly which card has the balance and easier to safeguard.

Just put all your cards in, transfer them to a single card (you pick one of your cards to get the balance).

Click manage cards.

You will be spending a long time at the ticket window if they have to run each one. You can combine them in advance. I just did it for 7 gift cards I bought to pay my DVC news, they have a max of 5. You can have a balance of up to $1,000 on each card.

You can combine them to any one of the cards. Say you have 5 $50 cards. You can combine 2, 3, 4 & 5 to the first card.

I don't think it matters. Call the number on the back of the card, you can also do this over the phone with them and ask them exactly what your options are.

Follow up question to this post; Is there anything required to upgrade to AP other than payment information? We will be upgrading in AK (day 1 of our trip) and will have cc with us, but want to make sure we won't need anything else.
